You are getting this email because you and I have worked together closely (direct or indirect) in the past- and I trust you. I have attached the briefing slides for an Exercise that several of us are organizing designed to help us learn, adapt, and improve. Exercise 24 is a 24-hour catastrophic disaster scenario that is taking place on Sept 24, 2010. We purposefully have not provided detailed information yet because we need to see who will be participating, and in what capacity. There will be organization, structure, chaos, and uncertainty. Please take some time to think over how you an an individual, or you as part of an organization, may want to participate. The sky is the limit here and we can try just about anything. The title calls this an "Exercise" but consider it a demonstration. Feel free to take your "organizational hat" off and come play as someone with plenty of experience in this field, or find a way to engage with your organization. We are encouraging participation (or at least following along) in any capacity and by no means are we trying to limit it. If you participate, all we ask is that you play well with others and come ready to test, break, try, fail, succeed, innovate, and experiment.
