PF/ESIC/PROBATION QUERY.?

Dear All,


I have a query in regards with the above mentioned subject?


1.Is PF/ESIC Mandatory?
I have read that employees drawing Basic+ Da of more than Rs 7500 PF deduction is not mandatory!!
and ESIC is Rs 10000 +

2. What is the period for extension of Probation of Employee?
Is it mandatory to confirm the employee after specific time.

hi Amrut,
1) yes, it is mandatory.
2) P F above 6500?- is not mandatory however, if he/she is already a
member in the previous Co, then it is mandatory to cover and extend
the benifit of PF.
3) ESi beyond 15000/- sal is not mandatory
4) under Stding Orders Act , it is 3 months whcih can be extended to
further 3 months.
5) person is presumed to be confirmed beyond probation period, if not
extended or terminated
