Susmita had sent you quite a good sample, I had made some changes in it in red, you can consider it if you deem fit

Attaching herewith the same.

Also,

You can add following points in your Probationary Letter.

  1. You will be on Probation for a period of  one year with effect from ___________

 

  1. You will be paid a total gross salary of Rs.------- (Rupees thousand only) per month  inclusive of all allowances.

 

  1. During probationary period, the Company will assess your work, conduct, general aptitude and overall suitability. Where you show improvement in your performance, though not up to the standards, the  Company may extend your Probationary period at its sole discretion which will be intimated to you in writing. And where you are found not suitable , your services may be terminated without any further notice on the expiry of the Probationary period/extended Probationary period.

 

  1.  In the event of the Company deciding to offer you regular employment on the expiry of your Probatiuonary services, You will be advised so in writing.Till such time you  are advised in writing. You shall be deemed to be on Probation.

With due respect.---- in reply to your mail.
I DISAGREE WHAT YOU SAID.
I feel  service Rule-Employment Standing Order Act is a sufficient base for the same.
 
At the max v can qote the reference at the top of extention letter .....
"With referenece to the clause .....of your appointment letter/probationary letter dated--- no--............ and as per the service rule............................................... "
 
I dont feel that v r binded upon to put in black and white the causes for extention unless forced/required by the law of the land later in case of any griviencess.
