hi

from what i have seen it is possible to get data into the iphone.
is it possible to also get data from the iphone to the other connected
device (i.e. arduino) ?

Hi Stephan,

this is one of the things which hopefully will be implemented soon
(iirc btstack does support it).
Are you familiar with Objective C? Once this would work the amount of
apps we could write using JS/CSS/HTML would increase so much :)

hey nikolai.

yes i am semi-familiar with obj c. i am mostly using www.openframeworks.com
(c++) to write software for the ipod touch.

what is iirc ?

so if i understand you right data out from iphone to other device does
not yet work?
well please keep us all posted once it does work. it would be so great
to use.

This is an exciting project. I too am interested in outputting data
from the iPhone to another device (ArduinoBT) via btstack. It would be
excellent to add support for this, so I'll take a look at the
Objective C and post back if any progress is made. Please keep us up
to date.

that sounds really cool! Once we have a bridge to send data back to
the Arduino, we'll open up a whole new world for webstack based apps.
