Portland Symposium

Please find attached two documents.
The first is our Section's proposed symposium for Portland 2012, with confirmed speaker list and the endorsements that we have sought.
We wont know until late in the year if this has been accepted, but I hope you agree it is an interesting proposal.
The second document is a compilation of all the symposia proposals that have sought Section endorsement from us.
There are nine of them - and very good some of them look too.
As the rules only allow our Section two secondary endorsements we need you to vote on which two you want to support.
Please go to our webpage and make your nominations, using the symposia as numbered on the compilation list to indicate your choice.
We have to send our nominations into ESA by Thursday, so the poll will only run until then - so please, take the time to do this soon.
We'll be planning other Section activity through the year and we'll keep you informed. All suggestions welcome.
