Dear HR-SJ Colleagues,
I recently visited the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia and
viewed an art exhibition by Michelle Handelman on trans prisoners.
The artist developed monologues based on true experiences of life in
prison for trans men and women.
I am renting the 30 minute film from Michelle for fall semester, and
she gave me permission to share the DVD with any instructors of this
course.

FYI - This film describes in detail experiences of rape, abuse,
transphobia, etc.
I would recommend warning students about the content in case they need
to leave the classroom.
