Dear Colleagues,

Each of you has promoted ethical, responsible, humane, human-compatible, human-centric, or human-centered AI. This Google Group on Human-Centered AI (HCAI) will enable coordination to advance these ideas. The Group members could form research collaborations, develop courses, run workshops, organize conferences, and edit journals. You can learn more about the group by reading recent Conversations.

We could spread information about active projects, such as Sean McGregor’s AI Incidents Database now hosted by the Responsible AI Collaborative, and already including 1600+ incidents.

We have begun a website with resources, such as courses that cover HCAI, research groups, and civil society organizations. For a deeper review of issues see my recent book on Human-Centered AI.
