just a quick reminder about the term paper due at the end of this semester. A critical analysis of any text (short story/comic book/graphic novel/poetry/drama) of around 1500 words, due by 23 April. late submissions will be penalised.

if you are doing your term paper on poetry, you will have to do several poems - they could all be by one poet, or chosen thematically.

hand written papers are okay, as long as the writing is legible. But the penalty for plagiarism remains the same in handwritten or in typed format - an F.

the text you choose to analyse does not have to be in English, as long as you provide a rationale and a detailed synopsis.

no fixed 'pattern' - am not sure what you mean by the question. a well structured piece of literary analysis is required.

Can we do the analysis on a particular character that surfaces in 3-4 books by the same author, and has the same characteristics? For eg: Robert Langdon created by Dan Brown....
