这是太阳系外发现的最小的行星，但质量也是地球的5倍。
他们的主要目的之一是想发现有没有外星人，但是质量太大的都不适合居住的。所以只能发展更强大的观测手段，才能看到质量更小的行星。最近有篇
Nature就讲了用激光技术探测更小行星的方法。
