Hi here are my answers:

  1. Project Documents: put all documents under downloads as a file (pdf, doc, or rtf) -i.e. project_description, lessons_learned, presentation
  2. Android Install files (the APKs) should go under downloads too
  3. The external JAR should either be packaged with the APQ or added as an additional download (but then you will need to add an Installation_instructions file also to explain how to explain)
  4. TourtoiseSVN is OK- as are any other SVN clients
  5. Source code should be under Source.

Hello Amnon,

We have few question regarding the delivery of the project materials, therefore we will appreciate if you can help us:

  1. In the project document we didn't find suitable place to add it in the Google page. do we suppose to write it in an external file and add it with the rest of the code? or there a specific place in the Google page?
  2. Also in the project document you have requested lessons learned. can you elaborate more about this because we didn't understand what you meant.
  3. by writing "Android install files" do you mean the version of the API? or something else?
  4. in our code there is an external jar we used in order to communicate with a database. do we need to add this file? if so where?
  5. In order to upload the code to the Googel page we used a program called tortoiseSVN, is this OK?
sorry to bother you with so many question we just wanted to make sure we understand the requirements as we should.

regards,
Yoav, Yulia and Tali

Hi Amnon,

There are still some open issues regarding the submission of the
project we would like to clarify.

1. First of all, what is "lessons learned"? It appears under "project
documents" in the submission guidelines.
2. Our application consists of server and client sides and a database
as well. We are not sure which parts should be submitted.
We can submit both the client and the server and you will install
every thing on your computer. The second option is submitting only the
client and running the server on our computer (when needed).
3.

I pressed the "send" button by accident before finishing the message.
Any way, no more questions for now.

thanks,
Yulia.

Hi Amnon,

There are still some open issues regarding the submission of the
project we would like to clarify.

1. First of all, what is  "lessons learned"? It appears under "project
documents" in the submission guidelines.

Lessons learned means: What did you learn in the process of planning, designing and develping the project. What was a surprise and harder than you thought?

2. Our application consists of server and client sides and a database
as well. We are not sure which parts should be submitted.
We can submit both the client and the server and you will install
every thing on your computer. The second option is submitting only the
client and running the server on our computer (when needed).

Lets do both: attached a zip/tar file with the server parts with instructions on where/how to run it. Also keep a version at your end which I can access if needed.
