Hi !

With Hugin 2019 rc1 on Windows 10 I have some strange color effect if I use verdandi, but not with enblend. See this picture;

enblend_vs_verdandi.jpg

I tried different settings, and the only way I found to remove this bug, is to delete the top images.

You can download the complete set here: http://stemani.fr/G3_duo.zip  (220MB)

I can reproduce the issue here. Thanks for the testcase. I will need some time to debug this.

I committed some fixes for the issue. It should blend fine now.

Hi!

I tried to stitch the same set with the latest appimage (Hugin_Panorama_Creator-git-20190928-x86_64.AppImage).

There is no color bug anymore, but you can see some stitching lines :

I can confirm that with a recent Windows build (post the April changes to Verdandi), I get similar stitching lines as  Stéphane with  2 image panos. They are not visible using Enblend.

Can you provide this small sample? This would be easier to debug than Stéphane 58 images project.

Thomas

PS: Strange that nobody complained in the last 5 months and now 2 people at the same time...

I attach a screen gran of the issue. I tried to reduce the size of the 2 images used before posting but the issue was not visible when I re-ran Hugin with the smaller images to create a pto file. Where is the best place to post the full size images (approx. 12MB each) or are there any trials you would like me to run?

It should be fixed now.

Hi Thomas,

I tested this rc1 with the same pano.

No strange lines anymore, but a small black artifact. See the attached images.
I can't say if it's related to this specific pano, or a more generic problem. It needs more tests.

Brian, did you test this release ?

Best,

Stéphane

I can reproduce it. But it happens only at some image sizes at the 360 deg border. But there are also image sizes which are ok (e.g. the default 70 % scale is ok).
