Ubuntu ppa nightly

I noticed the nightly ppa (https://launchpad.net/~hugin/+archive/ubuntu/nightly ) is quite out of date (18 weeks ago).

Are there any current builds available for Ubuntu?

Or are there detailed build instructions?

The maintainer of the nightly packages (Stefan) has disabled his account without notice. So I don't know what the status here.

The list of dependencies is outdated. The current list of dependencies can be found in INSTALL_cmake file in Hugin repository: http://hg.code.sf.net/p/hugin/hugin/file/d22df1550a9a/INSTALL_cmake

But these are not Ubuntu specific. But it should be straightforward to find these libs in the Ubuntu repos.

Thank you! That worked, after an hour or so. The dependencies are more or less still valid (libwxgtk3.0-gtk3-dev instead of libwxgtk2.8-dev, swig3.0 instead of swig2.0)

As an alternative solution, you might want to try my AppImage packages: https://github.com/aferrero2707/hugin-appimage/releases/tag/continuous

They should work fine in any Ubuntu-based distribution…

The packages will be updated on a weekly basis using the code from the main development branch.
