Hi,

I gave Hugin 0.8 2 images - sigma 8mm f/3.5 from canon t1i

and this came out.

crazy stuff! strange lines and stuff.....

any idea what i'm doing wrong? :-)

This is in the OpenGL preview, right?

I've seen it happen to me too - but I've never seen that the output
(through nona) is wrong.

Have you tried using the normal preview?

it is not possible to discern from the image you posted whether it is a
resulting stitch or a print-screen of another window or what.

please post your project's pto file.

I had this too, but to a lower extent. My impression was that it happens
if the lens parameters are optimized to extreme values - most probably
because of wrong control points.

I second Erik.

I had it on a regular basis and it always went away before the final stitch... At one point I understood that the extreme parameters were the cause.

Just reset the lens parameters for distortion and for barrel to 0 and it should go away.
