Sometimes you can never anticipate what someone might try. Hugin
obediently tries to exposure optimize on one image. It then vanishes.

Tried with "clean slate" install.

General:
Interface language still English, no matter what I set.

Pano with 2 rectilinear images. Generate control points with
autopano-c-complete with default command line: 0 control points.
(Rotation search enabled.)

A. Jennys autopano, generate cps from images tab: OK, 10 found.

Optimize.

Load lens parameters.
I select img 0 and load parameters. Image 0 disappears from preview.
This is an older bug that I forgot to report earlier. It's always the
image on which I click to load lens parameters that disappears. (Images
always share one lens.) When I repeat the same steps with img 1 this
disappears, too.
"Load EXIF" and they are visible again.

Review cps:
Layout of cp tab is fixed!
New bug in Control points tab:
Different images in both panels. Select cp in list. Hit "fine tune".
Image 1 switches to no. 0. (No matter if right or left is no. 1.) Same
happens when selecting cp by clicking it in the image.
After resizing hugin window there is only one image panel in the CP tab!
Close hugin -> crash. (No error message)

Setting a vertical cp in img 1:
When right clicking to confirm, error message appears:
ERROR: (.... CPEditorPanel.cpp:737) CPEditorPanel::SelectGlobalPoint():
CPEditor::setGlobalPoint: point13 not found in currentPoints. Both
panels switch to img 0, but the point is actually set.

Add control points by "Align" button on Assistant tab: Strange colours
appear. http://joachim-schneider.medianet-world.de/strange_colours.jpg

These are the values hugin computes with the align button:
http://joachim-schneider.medianet-world.de/exp_corr_alignbutton.gif

This is what happens when I use default settings on the exposure tab:
http://joachim-schneider.medianet-world.de/exp_corr_exposuretab.gif
But this is when I start from scratch. It does work to repair the above
damage.

Stitching:
With this path "d:\users\a\Eigene Dateien\Eigene
Bilder\_EINGANG\2007-09-25 Chiavenna, Paradiso RAW\P Brücke 2" there is
some error message in the output that something is not found. Can't
write it down because the window disappears. Images are remapped but no
blended output is produced.
Put everything in a path without spaces or anything "offending": No
error messages in output as far as I can follow, but again only remapped
images, no blended output.

Hope this helps.

regards
Joachim

Thank you for trying. helpful indeed. A new version is in the pipeline.

re 7z vs. zip, please keep in mind that bandwidth is not unlimited and
7z is *much* more efficient than zip, and it also unpacks legacy
formats, including rar. So if you have rar installed, you can replace it
with 7z and the clutter stays the same, just better compressed ;-)

Hmm, I get some strange errors when using files with umlauts together with
autopano-c-complete.exe (compiled perl script). For the same project,
APSC (now renamed to autopano-sift-c) works nicely.

The exposure if probably reset to 0 during load image. Have to check why.

Fixed in 2870.

I could not reproduce that, but I have seen this effect some time in the
past as well. Maybe the wxSplitter between the images is to blame. Replaced
with a fixed layout in 2870. Now the

Couldn't reproduce that either, maybe it was related to the above bug?

Might also be related to the automatic reset of the images to img 0.

That is a problem with the photometric optimisation. I need to improve its
stability by enforcing monotonous vignetting curves and maybe change the
sequence of the various optimisation steps that the "Align" button performs.

There was a problem with spaces in the exiftool call. Should be fixed in the
current svn (sorry, forgot the revision of the change).

This is also fixed.

Can't reproduce either, neither with 2863 I'm testing right now, but it
still happens. An I have realized that it is in fact the splitter. that
is set too far right.

Not reproducible but often.
