Hi, I'm new to Hugin and I'm trying to use this program to stitch web map screenshots which obviously I left a margin of overlap between the screenshots. I would like an image without distortions and without variation of the exposures. Up to now I have been able to load the images, to create the control points but I do not find ideal optimization parameters. What can I try?
Thanks

An update, checking FOV 5 and only X (TrX) and Y(TrY) optimisation parameter I obtain a 0.063 maximum error. As far I know all seems in order to output but the Preview panorama windows confuses me and if I touch something the error changes. Do you know what can I do to mantain the final image near to original  in order not to introduce distortions?

   Hi Marco,
If you change the default 'panorama' (the stitched image from the map components) size from 3000 to any other value the error will change, as it is based on this 3000 pixels size. Don't fear this effect, it won't change your result.
If your partial maps are screenshots, why do you think there will be exposure variations from one image to another? Did you change the screen brightness, or used more than one single computer?

If you adapt the  flat scanned images tutorial (http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials/scans/) to your case -- e.g. roll probably is 0 for all images -- you are in the right direction :)

   Good luck!
