Hi all,

in the release of Hugin 2024.0.0 there was a bug found which prevents the compilation with older wxWidgets version (especially 3.1 series). So we need to release a bug fix as 2024.0.1.

Changes since 2024.0.0:
* Fixes an include to compile with older wxWidgets version. (No other changes.)

Verify its checksums:

(The release 2024.0.1 correspond to changeset ead3af10a01aour repository, which is also tagged as 2024.0.1).

This is a source code release. We have not the resources to compile for all platforms.
Users communities produce executables for their respective platforms. Please announce them here.

Changes since 2023.0
* Added browser for project files to Hugin. It can show thumbnails or project details of all project files in a directory.
* Create GPano tags also for cylindrical output projection.
* Several bug fixes for verdandi/internal blender.
* Fixes reading of metadata from cr3 raw files.
* cpfind is now using multirow strategy as default.Ā  If you want the old behaviour instead add the (new) switch --allpairs to command line.

Upgrading from previous versions of Hugin should be seamless. If you do have problems with old settings, these can be reset in the Preferences window by clicking 'Load defaults'.

Windows binaries (64 bit) can be found at sourceforge: (now with correct version information)

Compiling 2023 code works but latest 2024.0.1 fails as above. I reckon all code has been coded on windows not being tested on mac? Anyway. Something in MainFrame. Any code pointers I“ll gladly take here.

What is the problem with the gettext sources? msgfmt -c --statistics reports no problem with our translation files.

Hi and thanks for tha latest code release.
Nothing was wrong with the gettext sources. I wrongly compared older compiler sources compiling newer and older releases but when starting off clean I got it working again with latest code thank god šŸ‘.

The enblend/enfuse program in this installer contains a bug. (It prints a lot of debug information which can results in an apparent hanging stitching process - if you wait long enough the stitching is successful finished.)
I uploaded a new version of the installer with a new enblend/enfuse where this is fixed. No changes to Hugin itself.

You can download it from sourceforge:
