Hi!
It is my first post on this group. I'll be short. My duty is make a
panorama viewer for android, Im starting this week, I'll a cubic
projection, so i already draw a cube with opengl ES 1.0 and mapped the
textures in each face of cube, my issue now is put the camera i center
of the cube and see the cube inside. Any ideas how i can do that?

I don't see how this is related to hugin. Just set the transform so
the camera is inside. You will probably have to change culling to
GL_FRONT to make faces visible if you have face culling enabled.

You may want to try the PanoTools NG discussion group http://wiki.panotools.org/PanoToolsNG, for example, as they cover more general topics. The focus of this group has a tighter focus and your question really lies outside of that. If you want to make a Hugin android app, say for a ICS tablet, that'd be a different matter :-).

Cheers,
Daniel.

Yes, this would be a good place to discuss any kind of Free Software
panorama stuff for Android.

The heading of this group is 'hugin and other free panoramic
software'. It's not exclusively hugin. So if this android viewer is
free, this would be a good place to discuss the topic. It might even
be refreshing to have someone outside PT in the group sharing their
thoughts. If it's a commercial project, then of course this group
isn't the proper place for it.

The intention is to develop a viewer or the necessity is to show a panorama on Android? Cause this can be done with flash. You can use some plugin like Salado Player, install a web server on android and access the page then.

Good luck!
There is a shortage of native pano viewers on android :|

Here is my wishlist:

* performance, performace and performance (if the device doesn't have
enough/ram cpu, add a setting do downsample the pano, preferably
permanently)
* zoom/fov adjustment
* gyro support
* equirectangular image support (jpg,png)
* krpano tiles support
* tile streaming

If we are talking about a free tool I would also put another wish:

* Salado Converter / Player tiles support

So, is it going to be free software or commercial?

Yay, keep us posted!
BTW you really should set up a webpage for the project.

Hi all,

Like I told you before, I am working at a panorama viewer for Android.
What I need now, is just a repository or web site where I can found
the images to project. I need cubic and spherycal images.

Hi Jorge,

I'm not sure why you haven't thought of this, but Flickr really is a good source if you need images to experiment with, for instance by searching for "equirectangular" (these are spherical images) [0].
Equirectangular images can be converted to cubic faces using e.g. Panotools Script [1]. For instructions see [2] (which mentions an older version but it still works the same).

Good luck and be sure to post back whenever you have a viewable result.
