Newly upgraded 2023.0.0 to 2025.0.1 on Ubuntu 24.04 WSL2 - simple pano fail

Hello,

I'm running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on a Windows 11 system with Windows for Subsystem for Linux v2 and wanted to run Hugin here rather than on the Windows side.  I'd had Hugin 2023.0.0 installed on WSL2 already for some months; but, could not use it.  It was throwing a slew of strange "assertion" errors.  I used the following command to upgrade Hugin to 2025.0.1 in the hopes I'd find it worked:

sudo apt --only-upgrade install hugin

I then tried a small 4-frame single row pano that I'd had no issues with using Hugin 2025.0.1 on the Windows side.  There were no issues until it came to the stitch itself at which point the Batch Queue reported a 'Failed' stitch.  In the log file, there is no indication I can see of what caused the failure; but, it does stop recording output while remapping the LDR images.

I'd like to share the pto and log files; but, I'm not sure if there's a preferred cloud site for this or not.  Please advise.
