Thanks, Ken
At least you get to try to post and can keep a record of these ridiculous incidents. I really miss the give and take on HP, that is why I went there to start with and why I constantly fanned those opposed to my views, at least as long as I found them to be interesting or informative or with an avatar like Lady Ta-Ta. What fun or brain stimulation is there in talking with folks that agree with you all the time or haven't had or wanted an original thought since the days of Moses? Could anyone figure out how many comments per day/hour this person has squeezed out since they started on HP? Maybe we are missing something. Maybe there is a $$stipend attached to the badge system that we are unaware of. How does this person stand on Facebook and does HP factor that in the badge/stipend system? Red hot complaints from all of us to the HP email address condemning this mod should be the order of the day for all of us. But we should avoid mentioning Jude or she might get banned through our efforts and need to ask her permission first. Personal questions: Has anyone sent out my petition invitation? I still can not get rid of the fragmenting and I know that puts folks off. Any suggestions? Does anyone know anything about CREDO action? They showed up on an email account that I do not use very often and seem to be some sort of petition site. They want me to sign a petition to keep Ms. Palin from appearing on the Discovery Channel. That is some of the very sort of crap that I am absolutely opposed to--Prior Restraint. But I do like some of their other petitions. Concerned because I do not know how they got my address. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks, Ken --- On Thu, 10/21/10, InsideOutGraphics rouslin <insideou...@gmail.com> wrote: |

Must take Mr. Williams side. And at the very least hope that NPR's funds are revoked until such time as they allow ALL voices to speak their mind, that is how tax dollars are supposed to be spent--for the good of all, to the detriment of none. Mr. Williams did what all commenters/analysts do--speak their minds and offer up their personal opinions when they are asked. The PC idiots at NPR have done more to harm open discussion than they could ever imagine. For the sake of showing Mr. Williams "who's the Boss" and that PC can rule the day, they have made, of all people, a hero out of Bill O'Reilly and given Newt Boy some live ammo to revoke their tax payer funds. Better to have brought Mr. Williams back to NPR for a program of discussion of the issues and drawn a line in the sand going forward from this point that he could no longer
appear on Fox unless he quit and went on his own. They, after all, allowed him to appear on Fox and never said anything until the money from Soros showed up. They have only themselves and their censorious attitudes to blame for the flack they are taking. See ya, Ken --- On Fri, 10/22/10, Nancy Weaver <nmhw...@msn.com> wrote: |

First of their emails arrived yesterday and was anti-Palin only. They have lots of petitions. I emailed them back to see what they were all about but no answer so far. |

Not necessarily that I want to cut them off. Just wondering what opinions were out there about them and how they got my email. Now I know and will proceed according to what I think of individual petitions. Already told them what I thought of a petition that wanted to impose prior restraint on ANY journalistic endeavor. I will continue to proceed here as I do in the real world--those who know more than I do have opinions that matter to me and I do not mind asking questions; to do other wise would leave me mired in ignorance.
