You've got to fight fire with whatever the hell....... Use  them as a vehicle. They've been doing it for eons on us...go for it it. I've had a real sucky day, thank you HP....So go for it. I can suck off the opposition just as quickly as they suck off us. Only difference is, I'm coming back/
. You realize this all this BS boils down to a media war?

I have had no computer for a few days---apparently, my laptop innards got hijacked by some kind of hijacking bug...my AVG caught it but, the bug had some kind of additional evil linked to it that threw off my fire wall; wish I knew what I was talking about!

Anywhoo...after doing some email catch up, I decided to checked in and read the headlines at HP--total hype; very smelly, tainted to the right, predicting gloom and doom. In reality, all I've listened to is my XM news channels  the last few days--they say different. The callers to talk shows sound just like most of the comments on HP (so do the trolls). The HP has switched positions/sides oh so subtly; HP fails to mention a lot of the violence going on, thuggery from the rights most radical candidates, which are the lead stories on the news shows interviews/punditry. Instead, she attacks Obama. Veddy interesting...HP is getting their bread buttered more and more by some major corporate media whores who must be throwing gobs and gobs of $$ and a promise of power to The Ariana...she vibes like a typical politician who is always lying to cover their backside as she talks out of both sides of her mouth.

I will still fight against the censorship, but, I'm pretty sure I won't be getting my headline news from HP; it's smell is getting more and more ripe with each passing day.

That sucks about the bug. I've noticed the same thing about the Huffpo headlines lately. Very defeatist. The one yesterday something like "Does He Want to Lose the MidTerms?" with a picture of Obama was really over the top.

Agreed...defeatist is a better descriptor of the situation. Suppression is another word that comes to mind...yeah, HP's slit-eye look at the president as a villain is getting really old...almost cynically satirical.

Again, I tried posting on an article concerned with fundamental religious zealotry and my cogent thoughts were never posted. It was interesting that all kind of mean, nasty side bars were allowed, some very radical "kill the infidels" rhetoric, but, my position that we need to examine at the "behavior" not the belief was too, too much for the moderator.

I proposed that those who want to truly have an effect on those who promote religious-based massive over-throwing of society (all forms of religious fundamentalism) should look at the behavior of those who profess, not their belief; that it is their behavior that will get them arrested for money laundering, gun/drug/gem running, acts of violence to women and children along with enslavement of others...that was not allowed.

And it's true...that is how most fundamentalist get "caught"--committing criminal, sometimes heinous, acts upon their own, not just others. Looking at their belief only stirs "hate" our difference, but, we can all agree on "bad behavior/jail-time" for the bad guys...

But that was not "allowed".

we need to examine at the "behavior" not the belief ...Couldn't agree more. But I'll take it one step further. We also must include the motivation behind the behavior as well as their perceived gains. Just a thought.
BTW, did any one get a chance to view the hp powerpoint I sent to some? It lays out the reason of why HP does  what they do. Today someone commented about the lack of coverage of the Dem running against Miller. I had the chance to post the link to the power point presentation given by one of the founders of HP.
