No emails have come in to me from anyone in the group for over a week. Am I infected with the plague or has everyone gone into hibernation? Send me anything so that I can tell if a virus has gotten into my computer.

See ya, Ken

Hi Ken, It's been a busy few days for me. Yard work to other assorted chores. In between, I manage to post to hp. No I hope you don't have a virus , or the measles :-) It's just some days, I think  ought to at least do the dishes and a load of laundry:-) Was also working in the studio.

So how is it going for you? The weather on my coast of Fl. is rather unseasonably cool. But it's been real nice, for a transplanted Northerner.

I'm in my last week of training for the Tour De Tucson...it's all work, no fun and, I pray that THIS year, when I finish, my eyelashes won't hurt so badly (everything else on my body, that's a given--it all hurts!!)...don't ask how many miles I HAVE to ride per day in order to ride for one morning, in Tucson, with 1000's of other Lance wanna-be's; you don't want to know...I don't know why I do this yearly Mecca...maybe I have a strange gene, similar to the one salmon have compelling them to swim up stream every year...I'm tired, crabby and vocabulary is ruder than Lewis Black right now...I'll try after the 20th to be civil in discourse, but right now, the Advil is calling me...

I admire anyone that makes a commitment like you've done. And to think, every time I go up and down my stairs, I think my heart should be thanking me and I pat myself on my back for a good days worth  of exercise.

As for the eyelash pain, is that sort of like when you've had your hair up and at the end of the day when finally you let it down,it screams, PAIN?

Best of luck and let us all know how it goes. If I ever participated in a race, you would see the largest bike pile up ever known in the history of racing. Although my husband and I  both are trying to convince ourselves to ride a brand new 2 seater bike that has been in the garage for the last 2 years. We used it once and being I live on a dead end street, we had to make a U turn. We found out the tandem bike is too long for a U turn. It's like a train. Sort of silly. So I'm thinking of putting it on Craigs list. Nothing like investing a thousand dollars for something that just sits in the garage.Money well spent? :-) However, my husband does have a regular bike and uses that one. Actually he either walks or rides a bike every where, work, store etc. So we also have a real nice car that also sits in the garage. He must average 20 miles a month with the car, so he's doing his part with  living  green:-)

Again, best to you and be sure to take care of those eye lashes. And here's to hoping the pain diminishes.

I've re-cooped from the Tour...the last 23 miles were due south into a 20 mph wind with gust. Needless to say, I did the ride slower than anticipated. Nothing hurt but my pride...

Support Wikileaks' right to whistle-blowing and condemn the censorship by the corporate oligarchy.

There are several issues addressed in Wikileak FAQ's if people would just pay attention and actually read them instead of going off on tangents and rumors dis-informed. Have any of you actually opened a random cable and just read? I have. The most important thing(s) I've learned is this:

1.Names of our state department personal writing the report is redacted--no one is personally revealed. I learned real information from the couple I choose to read. Within those "couple" I learned that there are diplomats from "other" countries who were trying to persuade that environmental laws in Europe be "dropped" as un-needed, un-necessary in the early part of the decade (veddy interesting). Whomever represented the US would have nothing to do with it...just an example of the tidbits that piqued my interest to learn more about the "players", the history of various laws and countries, etc.

2. I felt like my brain had to work instead of being directed to a particular narrative that has been pre-packaged to get me "on-board"...
It was engaging and exhilarating! I tried to talk about this with a friend and was cut off by, "Oh I don't have time to go there and read stuff. I'll just wait for Bob Woodard and his crew to sort through them and write a book"...sigh...Yes, that's an option in terms of time and energy, but that's exactly what has taken away our personal motivation to investigate, read for ourselves, think "originally"--our learned Pavlovian style of laziness; lay down and "let someone else do all the hard work" attitude. This "I don't have time" coming from this particular person was disingenuous; they do have time. I think my friend is sincere, but wants to play it "safe", just in case...the paranoia runs deep and that is why making the brain work a little harder to read the information a little each day is a way to get out of that lazy play it safe box we've been made so comfortable to accept...what are we, old dogs told to go lie on our pillow and quite begging for scrapes from our masters?

I do not have the time right at this moment to craft a statement as to why it is important to our censorship cause, but you all know, it is something we have to consider...your thoughts?

I am of  the personal opinion that Wikileaks is a much needed counterbalance to the sorry, corrupt, illegal acts and attitudes of the two headed slithering reptiles that purport to represent our interests and values and the interests and values of mankind in general as elected officials and their representatives abroad.  Wikileaks may have offered up some minor info that would be helpful to raghead terrorists but mostly what I have seen is that they have only confirmed what everyone in elite circles already knew and the American public suspected.  Unvarnished truth is nothing to be afraid of unless you have something to be afraid of or want to bs the American electorate as to what you are really up to and how you are going about it.  Just the one example of a corrupt Afghan official ripping off the American taxpayer standing in an unemployment line to the tune of $52,000,000 with the aid and comfort of American diplomats is enough to justify releasing all of the diplomatic (not military) cables over the last 35 years.  The problem is that the poor souls in the unemployment line probably do not listen to the news (I use that term loosely) and if they do, the whole scenario is warped by the Glenn Becks of the world who say not one word about the evil that has been laid bare by Wikilieaks.

Hey Ken, Wikileaks. I think Julian/wikileaks is a hero. It's the politicians and media that is playing this up and blowing it out of the water. They're embarrassed and are on the offense.and defense.
Sorry I didn't get back to you ThanksGiving. Busy as hell. I have just finished scanning 1 vol. plus 3/4 of 2nd vol. of German Documents  1940-1956/7. I don't care if I see another German text in my effin life.

The plan was to donate them to the Florida Holocaust museum but then after I told them, my family said, and my Jewish husband included., Don't donate until you find out what they are and are they worth anything historically and or monetarily. OK so  now I have the museum emailing, because they went over the sample I sent them and discovered that they are important docs, but they would need all 2 vol.
I've not told the curator yet.
Do you know that the German language is filled w/ effin consonants?  I came across some that translated, this is secret bla bla according to the Ministry of  of bla bla section bla bla bla.... And the address was on Friendship avenue no less. Must have been during the image overhaul and maybe they changed the names of streets??This particular one was during the cold war.
I am seeing German words in my sleep. They're all about Nazi Industrialists. So a guy called me last night as I had emailed him about them. He's a seller/buyer. . Well I emailed the link on the web page, but the editor called me last night and said he was very interested in looking at them. That I have gotten his attention and  his curiosity. Or something...
I feel like I'm brain dead at this point. But I sure do have some very interesting documents. I sent him a file today.

I'll let you know if I see men in black arrive at my door,.... can you say operation paperclip???  So many operations to choose from
Yes I have papers from Krupp as well as other nazi war criminal industrialists. If you don't hear from me in a while call someone:-) Huffington Post:-)) As a tip. :-) Jude Talk soon.

Well, it is nice to know that some of you folks are still out there.  Take some advice from an old antiques and collectibles dealer.  Sign no contracts with anyone until you have as full a translation of the documents as possible.  I have encountered such items as what you have in the past (both Japanese and German) and the value depends entirely on what the English translation turns out to be.  I never had any as valuable as I think that yours could be but they did turn out better than what I thought they would be.  I always used foreign language students or professors from the local college or university, they love the chance to show off their skills and work cheap if you do have to pay them.  It is well worth it to know what you have before you make any commitments AT ALL!  As a student of history, I would really like a chance to look over what you have before you dispose of them.  What are some of the German industrialists names?  Speer would be a biggie--he let his own demented father go to the gallows in a plea deal with the allies that pretty much left him in charge of his munitions factories.

Thank you so much for the advice. My husband also mention something similar. Make sure you know what you have before doing anything.
Speer. That name I saw a lot. Hand written signatures and type written docs. I also saw today what appeared to look like Alcoa chemical??Late 50's??Also a file that just was in an index of it's own. Briefs.  That's it. But I did detect, on one hand the Crede' Files,to their friends they spoke of how poor they were, not furnishing their apartment in Nuremberg, yet, they were taking trips to the Rivera, Italy, etc. For months . I even have the guys w2 form, at least that's what we would call it. He worked for Krupp as well as a Plasticks werks. Amongst others.  So many industrialists. Dr.'s, Engineers, Psychologists that many came to the States for their Education. Harvard, Yale and UCLA Berkely. sp Also have written letters from the Dr.that devised the personality test that was used for years befor they settled on the Minn. Personality test. But much of the documents are about psychology, advertisement along with chemicals, plastics, and machinery. All major companies.
I have the first volume in Google Documents. I plan to load the 2nd vol. tomorrow. I would be  more than happy if you took a look.
There is also pieces of paper that are all the same size with a  name and initial sometimes like someone signed off on it.  But many of the docs, if not all, all have someone elses hand writting in the margins, check marks initials, dates, notes. Extensive notes and underlining , red and green signatures, on someones letters. Maybe they were being watched:-) and they never got their mail??? Who knows.

The person I contacted is Signature House. It was started by the Griggs, sold off to a California lawyer who retained the Griggs.
I forget who called me last night, but they received the batch today and were sent to  Mr. Griggs.

Who ever they are or the Signature house, they've sold many items and according to articles , they have had some major sales, and Europeans are buying this stuff. Paying top dollar.

Really hope that you did not send the originals but digital copies thereof.  I have been in this business since October, 1968 and have become quite cynical about autioneers in general.  What do you mean by volume I and II?  Is that how the originals are divided up?  Can get a list of the 100 scientists that defected with Werner von Braun and moved to the U. S. space program.  My bother-in-law was a NASA person and then worked on the private space station at Huntsville for a while.  My sister still lives there and can get a ton of info.
One of the secrets to value will be the titles (if any) applied to the various names involved (military, political, scientific, quasi-governmental, etc.) Some, like Speer, had titles that make no sense to us now (English or German) and probably had more to do with a coding system to determine the priority of the communication at the moment.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:  Is Obama totally corrupt or merely totally incompetent?  Either way, I wish I could take my vote back.

See ya, Ken

My husbands cousin in law??anyway he was the PR guy for NASA. He send my son so many patches for each shuttle, and letters, which I've saved.. He's the guy that invited Jane Fonda to NASA:-)...Hot topic back then. He's dead know. Name was Duffy.Marrried to my husbands cousin.Nice guy.Went to many parties with him. I adore their child.
I'll send you a list of names in the next few days, as I index this stuff. The folders are 2 in binders that are quite expensive I guess for their day. Marble printing ,with semi type locks inside.
The  inside still has the makers name page in them. They also have one large circle in the binders, like they were in a system that could be locked if placed in a certain type bookcase. Very sturdy binding, with the words in caps,PRIVAT  SCHWIRTW then the dates. I know there are more and I know how to find them. I lost the person's card EFFFF! But I have a way to find the seller to the people I bought them from. It was one of those "Lot" deal. The poor kids just wanted to get rid of the the LOT they bought. They gave me a card but I lost it. I think I can find them. I just picked the yard sale out of the news paper ads.

Find the rest ASAP  and make every effort to acquire them.  There may be clues that you are unaware of in what you have already sent on how to locate them.  Sounds like a super trove to me and anyone that knows what they are doing will try to get ahead of you and use your info to bypass you on making what could be some REAL money in this situation.
Get off that tussy of yours first thing in the morning.

OH, It was an imprint mark almost undetectable , imbedded in the paper itself.  . I'll send a copy tommotrow. I'm so tired right. All systems are down.:-)Oh I also have a list of people. Handwritten. Title at the top. One  word I think is Private, then a long word.
Lists of names, w/ numbers and a mark either K or M and someone elses handwritting, and ink color, the words, ?Such??  Mild souls. There is a Krupp on the list.
Numbers next to the names, ranged from a few to in the 60's. Names were also crossed out. It could be a fucken wedding list, but some had big families. Also many notes in margins, different color ink.
It would make a great movie,:-)

I just want to report that the censorship police are back at HP in full brigade.

I just tried to post 3X's on the article "Wikifear" and none of my comments are allowed...I asked openly who is moderating and whomever is not allowing me to post has no right to censor my opinion...which have been "normal" not off-topic, any of that...

They are at it again, as if my name is "up" for censorship.

Because I am techno deficient, I am unable to follow up on some of my ideas.  But I had the idea that a well worded plea to every one of the Wikileaks supporting sites to battle censorship at HP by providing an alternate site to speak our minds after being banned or censored by HP might just work out. Especially if we let them know that HP is censoring supporters of Julien Lasange. Just another way to get our little snow ball to stick to the great big snow ball that has started rolling down the hill.
