Don't know about the rest of you but I am ready for election day! Got Ol' Betsy, my pickup gassed and ready and two voters ready to hit the polls as soon as they open at 7:00 cst. Spare no effort to make certain that this is the highest turn out in the history of mid-term elections. Encourage all that are inclined and equipped technologically to record any chicanery at the polls to please do so and report pdq to the proper authorities and if you are ignored, keep going up the ladder after you have sent the recorded info to as many "good government" groups as possible.

See ya, Ken

Ken, You and me both.....election day!!! Finally. Because I'm so tired of 24/7 BS Polls, pundits, and propaganda.
I early voted, so now we all just sit back and watch the media circus spin all day, project and in the end, no one will know anything until all counts are done.

Then we'll enter the BS zone again and maybe see voter irregularities related stories coming from the looser. Who knows. It's been a wild ride inside the media circus balloon.
This had to be the worst election campaign in history. All brought to you by bs and a ton of private cash from so few people, looking to score bigger.

"The cost of our complexity has started to out-stripe the benefit..." Derrick Jensen, "What We Leave Behind".

The system, as we know, is collapsing but we keep trying to prop it up to the point we've out-striped it's benefits. We can indeed salvage parts of the mechanism still functioning on our behalf, but, there are those who want everything "smashed" into smithereens; chaos would reign and we have little left....Except, those who created the "chaos" in theory, benefit by striping the system and leaving nothing...those "invisible" people won't be happy until we look like Haiti and they live on private islands where we will have no access. They don't care about us any longer; they only want what's left of the natural resources. Either you're with them or against them.

That is why the election is so important--we're forced backward, into that overt message Bush gave, "you're either with us or against us" only this time, we know who's the "real" enemy as they aren't hiding it any longer; the flood gates of money has opened the doors to our candy store. We are voting on whether to allow pure greed to own us or, resist "them" in order to have a country of our own; this reminds me of the old expression, "the revolution was televised and nobody saw it..." . It was "censored", that's why we didn't see it...

We have to get out there and vote against the evil ready to swallow democracy whole. Even if you don't "like" some of the players who say they are for people, the environment, this vote will give us time, time to stall, sort out the things out and spread the truth before more censorship is exerted and really shuts us down!

You're talking about the Illuminati, or the Freemasons, or whatever they call themselves these days.  As long as they pull the strings (politicians, elections, control) it doesn't matter who is in charge.  They have enough money and resources to make sure they those who want to do good never get the chance.

I know there is so much at steak right now, and we didn't get here over night. More like years. And as I kept watching the polls, I kept thinking, this is BS. So Looked up some of the polls. They all have the same thing in common as the Dept. of Commerce.

Consumerism, be it PharmCo.'s  to Cattle industry.
So I ignore the polls.

2 things that give me concern .

If the Right does loose as I think they will, then where does all that anger go?
1- Precincts will contest the tally, demand a recount, even if there is no indication of voter fraud. Will they respond with more anger and violence
2-Should the right/teabag party win, where screwed all the way around and it'll look like 1949 all over again.

True, true, but our greatest asset is something they don't want and can't control--our educated human diversity, our melting pot.
They're gonna' try (via education, health care, etc.) to continue to dummy down our society, but, they cannot control the civilized, diverse, underground "intelligentsia" among the masses within our the middle class. It's our strength; they're trying to kill something they can't, just like we can't "kill" fundamentalism.

My theory as to why the dem electorate have been so eerily quite is, they didn't want to show their hand, talk trash. As soon as a dem  "shouted back", the reptilian brains who fed of corporate junk, wins; they started making a meme, playing it back amplified as if it were their idea...we all caught on to these predictable trolls quite a while back. Minorities have known this game (be cool) for along time.

(case in point, the brother on the Daily show, not Wyatt Snenak, can't think of the guy's name..anyway, he does this "Fake out/pull the white guys leg" routine on Stewart all the time).

It is a very subtle, sophisticated game trolls cannot grasp unless WE aren't paying attention; remember, they have a proclivity to steal anything that is not tied down (i.e we talk trash, let them in). Pay attention, keep playing them, nailing them as that cheap lite beer you'd never drink or offer to a friend.

There are way too many of us, the diverse "us", who can easily organize an underground quicker than Sara Palin can down a second glass of Chardonnay on the rocks and, giggle like Bette Rubble. I mean, look at what Rev Billy has done in very a short period of time, or the "Yes Men"; both inspiring others to copy them and pass the message along. Think about all the diversity human, the middle class who attended the Rally this past weekend...

If push comes to shove and, we're short-changed this election cycle, we will see more "underground" flyers, newspapers, social groups surfacing...and we will know one another by our consciousness, which will be very difficult for the hard right to infiltrate since they've never worked on a consciousness, or fail to have one.  We will survive unless we are herded into lethargy, helpless, which is what they expect...but remember, NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!!  (Well, maybe Father Guido Sarducci, the "priest" who did the benediction at the Rally...he's an old soul).

One more thing...
I and my son voted by mail a couple weeks ago...in order to vote for the local judges to retain, we Google-ed ye olde local, republican party website. The "chosen ones" selected local judges whom they found to be good little "cons" and those considered leftist agenda judges (their term, not mine). Our county's judges' list is extremely arduous and most voters leave that part of the ballad blank; way too overwhelming. But, we passed the site/link to everyone we knew, who passed it on to every dem they knew...easy pickings! Hopefully, it will pay off.

Cheers...

As I have stated many, many times before being banned from HP:  to underestimate the reptilian brain is to do so at the underestimator's own peril.   I coined the phrase two-headed slithering Washingtonian reptiles to describe ALL incumbents, not just those with an R after their name.  My thoughts on Sharon Angle were substantially misinterpreted--she and her ilk may get us into a worse mess (and I do not deny that can't happen) but Reid and crew got us where we are, either through the sins of commission or the sins of cowardice and absolutely must go.  Lessons must be learned by all and in this election, the destruction of all incumbents is the only path left, all others have proven to be dead ends.
