Welcome to the Hudson Valley SCGIS Chapter Google Group! We are also in the process of setting up a Facebook and LinkedIn pages and will share them when ready. These sites will keep you informed about the chapters news and events. The following is a brief statement about our purpose:

The purpose of our group is to provide a forum that fosters professional collaboration, builds technical capacity in conservation organizations through training and technical support, and provides networking opportunities for members of the conservation GIS user community in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York.

We welcome all GIS users in the Hudson Valley or anywhere in New York to become members. We are planning a kick-off meeting around Memorial Day, more to come on the day, time and location later!
