And how do you get the polypeptide charges to add up to -2? I had +4 (His/lys/lys/Arg) and -3 (Glu/Asp/Asp)
And why would it be 4 fragments not 5? I had the trypsin cleaving at 3 and the cyn bromide cleaving at 1

I'm pretty sure about the method. Question number one was AMP, sorry. Histidine is neutral at physiological pH.

7.B; Histidine doesn't count at pH 7.4 8. It cleaves in four places=five fragments.

I agree with Candice on Q9 but not Q7.for Q7 the answer is C. Zero charge.
Lys/Arg/Arg/ - (Glu/Asp/Asp)
Also for Q1 the answer is E. because PEP free energy is about -62(very high negetive) but as we know AMP is low energy because it has only a phophoester bond that makes AMP stable.

I concur with Yousef for #1 (PEP) cuz it seems that all the other answers only have 1 phosphate group?

By the way, I am pretty sure that Q3 answer is E not B. Because stucture E doesn't have any chance to have an open chain to produce aldehide but structure B can. Its right side ring can be open at anomeric carbon and produce an aldehide.
