FW: Hackathon Email Blast

Hello Ms. King,

May this message find you well.  I am Morgan Mathews, Howard University B.S. Candidate '14 Health Management & Sciences.  I have been referred to you by several students in CEACS as I am looking for the best way to promote a Hackathon event that will be held from March 28th to 29th.

The Hackathon is being sponsored by a non-profit called Student Dream, founded by HU alum, Nena Ugwuomo.  Student Dream (SD) creates major socio-economic impact by training passionate minority college students to launch the most innovative, high-impact, startup ventures in the world. SD programs and events create a startup community of highly skilled, highly ambitious, and highly diverse entrepreneurs, designers, developers and those who support, sponsor, and advocate for them.

Student Dream is holding our first hackathon and they are doing it in DC! With the theme “Problem Solved”, this event will empower community members to share their challenges and concerns with passionate collegiate innovators who will develop solutions to the problems that inspire them most. The best solutions will contend for various prizes and awards.  

 

I would greatly appreciate if you could blast this out to CEACS students, I have attached the flyer in the email.
