I've downloaded and installed Hubbub for Windows. I've then go to
load it, up pops a dialog box asking for my FriendFeed user and remote
key. I can select the remote key link to find out my key (note this
opens up in Internet Explorer only and not actually the default
browser, which in my case is Firefox) but this is all I can so, I
cannot enter the details it wants as there is not box to enter in.
All I can do is close the box with the cross at the top right.

Please help? This is where is gets stuck.

Hi Kol,

There are a couple of things that might help, here.

First, there is a problem with the formatting if you have IE 6. This
should be fixed shortly, but if you are able to upgrade to version 7
then you'll see the extra fields and the buttons. You could press
[TAB] to get into the field, if you want to quickly check that you can
log in, but you'll still have problems with the formatting of the rest
of Hubbub once you get past there, so upgrading is probably the best
option.

Second, once you do get to see the field to put your details into,
there is a bug which causes key-presses like [DEL], [CTRL+V], [SHIFT
+INS], and so on, to be actioned twice. This means that if you copy
your remote key from the FriendFeed page, and then paste it into the
dialog box, it will happen twice giving you a string that consists of
two copies of your key. And of course, that will cause a login
failure.

Sorry about that one...but again, it should be fixed soon.

I hope that helps, and look out for new releases this week.

Regards,

Mark
