华夏中文学校的同学和家长们，你们好！

这星期六（五月二日）学校继续上课，但时间是二点半到五点二十。请大家尽量提早到校，不要迟到。

将近学年尾声，我们的一些管理工作，急需大家帮忙。首先是校长和懂事会成员的选举，请有志参与学校运作的家长们，认真思考，参加竞选，准备施展你的才能。另外，我们紧急征招审计人员，审计我们上一学年的财政收支情况。任何有热心的人士都可参加。请到学校办公室报名，谢谢。

我们要马上准备毕业典礼。请同学们积极报名参加演出。这是今年最后一次机会了！

运动会比赛时间:5/3这周星期天。希望大家能在8:30之前到达，安营扎寨，早到早占好地盘。学校会安排咖啡，bagel 和小朋友最喜欢的donuts。九点准时入场参加运动员入场式。

比赛地点:West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, 90 Grovers Mill Road, Painsboro, NJ 08536

请自带：折叠椅；如家里有华夏南部专用红色体恤衫的请一定带上，多多益善。没有的请穿红色上衣。根据天气预报届时会是75+℉ 大太阳天，请做好防晒，防过敏准备。学校会提供饮用水。

午餐：学校准备了各色午餐以满足大小运动员们的需要，有中餐馆订的六种中式午餐，虹城的肉包，还有比萨饼。

注意事项：安全第一。因为在陌生的户外环境，加上人员众多，请家长教育看护好小朋友们。

拔河对抗赛：华夏田径运动会的核心项目，代表各分校荣誉和精神面貌的节目分校拔河对抗赛将于中午12：30左右举行。希望各重量级选手踊跃参加！

我校武术老师张锦鹏率团参加了第13届香港国际武术节，该锦标赛于3月26日至28日，共有来自全球50多个国家。张师傅本人在八卦和枪术比赛中获得两枚金牌，而其学生Ashley Lin获得太极金牌和北派长拳银牌，Alex Cheung获得劈挂拳的金牌和剑术铜牌。特此祝贺。

为了方便大家办理中国签证，旅行社的人会在5/30和6/6 下午1：30PM---2:30PM在Cafeteria办理签证。6/13 最后一次，只发还护照。我会提前一星期再发通知和注意事项。

就这些了，享受明媚的春天吧。

Hello Huaxia Students and Parents,

This Saturday (05/02) our school is open. But we have a delayed opening. The school time is from 2:30pm to 5:20pm. Welcome to our Chinese school. Please don’t be late.

As we are close the end of academic year, there is some urgent school running and administration work to do. There is a school principal election and school board member election. For those who support our school, please seriously consider this opportunity to serve our school. The election announcement has already been sent out.

We are also recruiting auditing team members to audit our last academic year’s income and expense. If you are interested, please stop by at the school office and tell us.

We are preparing the graduation ceremony. We encourage students to get involved, prepare your shows and get on the stage!

This Sunday (05/03) is the Huaxia Chinese Schools’ Track & Field Event. The school prepares coffee, bagel and donuts for breakfast. Please be there by 8:30am. The open ceremony starts at 9:00am. We have ordered Chinese food and pizza for lunch. Please wear our school t-shirts. If you don’t have, please wear red t-shirts. Bring your beach chairs and sun-lotion. The temperature will be 75℉. Our school will provide bottle water. There will be a tug of war among schools. Parents, be ready. The address is:

Very big congratulations to our wushu competitors for taking home six medals in the 13th Hong Kong Wushu International Championship.  Master Cheung Kam Pang, our school teacher received two gold medals in Ba Gua and Spear.  His students Ashley Lin received a gold medal Tai Chi and silver in Northern Style Long Fists and Alex Chung received a gold medal in Pek Gua and bronze in sword.

There will be a travel agent coming to our school on 5/30 and 6/6, from 1:30PM to 2:30PM, in the cafeteria, to process the visa applications going to P. R. China. I will send out another announcement and visa rules one week earlier.
