Farewell, Club Funding Report, and Receipt Submissions

Hi all!

I wanted to send one last email as the HUA Co-Treasurer before I formally hand off to the incoming 2024-2025 HUA Co-Treasurers Sahil Sood '27 and Tobias Elbs '27. It has been my pleasure to be a part of the HUA in spurring a more sustainable grant system to future Finance Teams and making the HUA more financially sound. 

I have finished compiling the Club Funding Report for 2023-2024 which now includes the Spring 2024 Semesterly, February Monthly, March Monthly, and April Monthly grant cycles. In summary, I am proud to share that the Finance Team disbursed $491,175.24 in grant funding to student organizations for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, in comparison to $466,607.25 disbursed in grant funding for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. While I am still dissatisfied with the huge cuts that we have had to perform this year, the Finance Team has increased funding despite a significant drop in SAF from the student body. Continue to encourage your club members to pay their student activities fee since it directly funds your student organizations.

Lastly, be aware of the approaching May 3rd deadline for submitting receipts that used HUA funding. Please consult the instructions listed in your grant disbursement award email for the link and visit HUA website for additional guidance. The incoming Co-Treasurers will perform receipt audits on grants throughout the summer.
