Hi!

The HUA Finance Team is happy to release our Spring 2024 Semesterly grant and February Monthly grant applications! Not much about the process has changed, but you should still be familiar with the policies in the 2023-2024 HUA Finance Guidelines. Following amending the HUA Constitution that set the grant application deadlines to 10-14 days after the first day of classes, both applications are now due February 1st, at 11:59pm EST. There are NO exceptions to this deadline out of fairness to other student organizations.
  • The applications are only open to eligible and compliant student organizations that are in good standing with the Dean of Students Office (DSO) and compliant with HUA finance policies regarding receipts. You may visit the HUA webpage for a list of compliant and noncompliant student organizations.
  • Semesterly grant funding is where the majority of the funding resides while Monthly grant funding is intended only for unforeseen expenses, special events, and provisionally approved student organizations. You also cannot apply simultaneously to a Semesterly and Monthly grant application cycle.
  • If required by the DSO, attend the Spring Leaders Forum on January 27th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. For a list on which student organizations must attend, please see this spreadsheet.
  • I have wiped all payment information submissions that were not marked as "Year-long" for communicating how long the HUA Co-Treasurers can refer to your payment information. You may need to resubmit payment information if I do not have any payment information on file.
Important Notes
Josh and I will be available to answer any questions you have by emailing trea...@thehua.org. Please refer to the HUA Finance Guidelines first before emailing.

We look forward to seeing your grant applications!

Warmly,
Corbin Lubianski
2023-2024 HUA Co-Treasurer
