March Grant App Released and Updates

Hi friends!

Wanted to let you know that I opened the application form for March grant applications. You should note that Monthly grant applications are typically reserved for extenuating circumstances, not because you just want more funding. Applications are due March 6th.

For the status of semesterly grant applications, my goal is to get them ALL done by Sunday night and get the Finance Team to approve them by next week. A big hurdle is usually the timeline when the DSO gives HUA the second SAF disbursement. I got word that it should be later today, but I'm not very optimistic about that timeline nor even later this week.

I plan on sending provisional approval emails before the Finance Team meets and approves the applications formally.

Oh, and for interviews! I moved away from requiring interviews for grant applications since we usually get all we need from the supplements and it's a burden to do ~220 interviews that are 15 minutes long. We will let you know if you need to attend an interview.
