HUA End of Semester Notes

Hi everyone!

As the semester is winding down, I wanted to share some notes to you all for the next few days.

Fall 2023 Semesterly Receipts are due tomorrow, 12/12, at 11:59pm 

As noted in the HUA Finance Guidelines, expenses using HUA grant funding must submit receipts by a specific deadline. For instructions on how to submit receipts, the link is included in your grant award email and a step-by-step guide can be found here. If you submit the receipts late, you will be automatically flagged for audit. 

Survey Release Soon

As done last year, the HUA Finance Team is interested in how to improve our grant system! I will be making the survey shortly. I will be randomly selecting 10 student organization respondents for $100 no-receipts needed disbursements. Be on the lookout for this.

Thanks for Approving my Amendment!

As approved in the HUA's fall referendum, we were able to shift the grant application deadline to be 10-14 days from the start of classes. You can find the specific language in the HUA Constitution and Bylaws. Expect for Spring 2024 Semesterly grant applications to open January 15th and due January 29th. These deadlines are fixed unless otherwise specified.
