Dear All,

HU made the presentation at ConnectM, located on Outer Ring Road, behind Intel from 3.30- 5pm on June 6th.Das made the presentation while Venky and I handled some of the questions.

There were 24 people in the audience(75% of the total strength- a very good attendence). Most of them did understand the gist of the presentation. There were a few questions (not too many though) like

1) BMTC service isnt great. So how does one use them? We emphasised the need to move to Public transport at least for regular office to home commute. They are using cabs to come to office which is better than individual cars.

2) How does one contribute to HU efforts? Das has sent the details to the Communication head- Shivali and she will be distributing it to the team. Our first motive is to get them onto the egroups and then look at their core strengths and interests to work with our internal teams accordingly.

3) Some of the questions were on the way the numbers were calculated in the presentation. Das gave the explanations.

4) Venky gave some ideas on how to moderate our lifestyles and ensure sustainable use of resources.

5) They are aware of the BMTC service to BIA and say that its "efficient". Some of them have used it.

They are running this program as part of their Corporate social responsibility initiative. They are aware of HU to some extent and this presentation helped in giving more information.

Overall it was a good effort from our side and there was some feedback from their end. We hope some of them will be joining us for our intiatives.

Nithin

ps: Das - Let me know if I have missed anything.

You missed out this:

Feedback on the following:
1. What were the points that the audience was responding to?
2. Any text, data or pictures that need to be added/modified/removed from the presentation?
3. Length of the presentation - OK?
etc.

1. They were focused on the Public transport part where in the comparison between 60 cars, cycles and bus was shown. Probably the message went across.

2&3- The content of the presentation was good.We may need to provide some content on how the pollution levels affect our health. The message from the numbers on the pollution levels probably didnt get through.
Length- probably we need to bring it down to 45 mins or so.And open it up for Q&A. Interactive sessions are the key,but the problem is when the audience is not active.
