The City Vault to recognize students in medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy and/or allied health programs, whose achievements are judged to be outstanding. The H.O.P.E. Scholarship will award an Apple iPad to the winning student. Eligibility Criteria: Undergraduate or Graduate Student Majoring in biology, chemistry, allied health Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
This scholarship intends to help alleviate the costs of textbooks and laptops. Research has also shown that many health professionals are using iPads to access patient records. A recent study of the
University of Chicago iPad Project, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, found that patients received tests and treatments faster when they were cared for by iPad-equipped residents. Eligibility criteria and application here:
