BUSINESS ANALYST  WITH SAP

 

Location  :  Dallas ,TX

Duration  :  Long Term

Purpose Of Job :

Reporting to the Manager of P2P and V2P master Data, the Master Data Analyst is responsible for organizing and managing the collection, checking and entry of master data into SAP through working as part of the data group team, procurement, materials planning, cost accounting, manufacturing, logistics and research/development. Provides input on all aspects of data maintenance impacting the Supply Chain, including the reconfiguration of products where opportunities exist to increase quality and reduce costs.

Responsibilities :

-  Directs the schedule and process of collecting and maintaining all required SAP master         data. Requires directing the efforts of direct reports and frequent interaction with all functional groups including production, finance, procurement, materials planning, logistics, serve the customer and research & development.
-  Works with research & development, logistics and finance to ensure all documentation, including MSDS’s, packaging specifications, and BATF formulas, are created and kept current.
-  Audits, reviews and analyses SAP data in order to ensure all data is kept current and    correct through regular reviews, including discontinuation.

-  Uses product and manufacturing process knowledge to provide insight and recommendations concerning formula rationalizations and unit configurations.

Education and Prerequisites :

-  Should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university, preferably with a scientific / engineering focus; and 5 -7 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of both education and experience.
-  Must possess strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, Lotus notes, and database software such as Access. At least two years experience with SAP in PP and / or MM  modules.
-  Excellent analytical skills.
-  Must possess strong communication skills, which are utilized in constant daily communication with multiple departments.
-  Strong mathematical and reasoning skills are required.
-  Work experience should include strong knowledge of food science, product formulations and manufacturing processes.
