Sending content - type to https application

When I am trying to send content-type to https application, the
content type value is zero so server receivers no content type value.
Actually the content type value is secure key for authentication. I am
using IE 7.0 . With IE 6.0 it works fine.
What may be the issues? I would appreciate if anyone can give me the
answers.

What do you mean when you say "Send content type"? What is the code
you are using?
And why are you trying to pass something other than a Content-Type in
the Content-Type header?
