When installing Fiddler, the following error message is generated at the end of the process: This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel. Could you please help?

Thanks,
Francklin

Is there a Fiddler shortcut in your Start menu? Does it work?

I have this same issue.  There is no shortcut, the installation never finishes.  It appears to be at the portion of the installation where it is checking for updates/

I wasn't aware of any update check in the installer itself.

At the end of the install process, the installer tries to open a "Congratulations / Success" page; this will result in a failure if your system's configuration is corrupted and your browser isn't properly installed and registered to handle the HTTP/HTTPS protocols. (Having said that, this failure shouldn't cause any other problems).

If you hit Windows+R and type https://example.com/ in the Windows Run box, does your browser open?

I should also reiterate that the Telerik folks only watch for bugs reported in their tracker: https://fiddler.ideas.aha.io
