Hi,
I can't seem to find the older downloads of the Fiddler tool that were compiled  to the IL using the .NET 2.0 framework.
I want to troubleshoot an HTTPS connection on an old Windows 7 OS that doesn't come with .NET 3.5 or higher installed.

Thank you for pointing me to the download URL.

Installing a newer .NET framework is not an option for me.

The new Fiddler installer from http://fiddler2.com is a unified installer which detects what version of .NET is installed, and installs the appropriate version of Fiddler based on what framework you have.

That said, it's been announced that only Fiddler4 will get new features going forward.

Thank you Eric.
I did try to install the latest build for Fiddler 4 on a Windows 7 OS with only .NET 3.5 in it and I got several unhandled exceptions and Null object exceptions, so I couldn't use that Fiddler

We'd really like to see these exceptions. However, could you do a clean install first? Please, make sure that you remove all files from Fiddler installation folder before reinstalling. Also, please, send us the version number of Fiddler.exe after installation.

Hi Tsviatko,
I was in a time crunch and uninstalled the older version of Fiddler, installed .NET 4.5.2 and then installed the latest Fiddler version.
I was able to record the sessions and troubleshoot the HTTPS problem I was seeing.

Because this was in a live system, I can't go back to recreate the initial environment.
I will try this later in my lab and let you know the exceptions I see and if I see the same.
This was on a Windows 7 SP1 x64 OS with only .NET 2.0 installed, .NET 3.5 was disabled on the Windows Components.

Regards,
-Lizet
