I'm using a Mac running macOS Sierra and the macOS beta of Fiddler 4.6.3.44161. I'm looking to install the Certificate Maker for iOS and Android add-on as instructed in this Fiddler documentation article for How to Capture Traffic from an iOS Device. The problem is that I'm unaware of how to install this add-on. The article simply says to install it, but its an executable (.exe) and won't work natively in macOS. I tried using the Mono framework because that's how you launch Fiddler on macOS even though it's also an executable, but that didn't appear to do anything.

Please, any assistance with this would be helpful. I understand that this is a beta and perhaps add-on support isn't available, but that isn't explicitly stated anywhere that I could find.

On Mac OS X (and Linux), certificates are already generated using the same code as used in the extension in question.

In contrast, Windows has native certificate generation APIs which are used by default, hence the availability of the extension, which generally isn't even needed any longer (because Windows MakeCert has been replaced with native CAPI calls that should be generating iOS/Android-compatible certificates when run on Windows 7 and later.)
