Hi,

I am currently running a simple home network which has multiple end devices connecting to a router via Wifi i.e. Mac, PC, Android (Mobile devices). What i want to know is if its possible to use Fiddler as a means to gather web stats such as which sites and pages within those sites were visited, when (time/date stamp) and by which device.

I have full control over the network itself so if required additional hardware/software can be fitted, however i have very limited knowledge in this area so i am looking for the simplest solution.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Fiddler is a proxy; it visualizes traffic that is sent to it. If you can configure your devices to use Fiddler as a proxy (either directly or via WPAD on your router) then yes, you can do this. But generally this is a hard problem for almost anything other than the router itself.

Thanks for the response EricLaw, so it sounds like it isn't an easy solution and that the best place to achieve this is via the router.... if possible.

Appreciate post.
