A minor girl brought from Aurangabad district of Bihar under dubious circumstances was sold in Shivpuri for Rs 40,000.
The girl, Sunita, daughter of Preet Narian resident of Karia Ara village of Aurangabad district of Bihar told the police in her statement that her uncle Shailendra brought her to Jamshedpur a month earlier and left her at a bus stand.
Meanwhile, a youth named Raja met her and brought her to his house and in the morning he brought her to Shivpuri (MadhyPradesh) with his wife and another woman. Raja sold the minor Ramveer in Nahari village of Shivpuri with the help of Dhaniram Jatav.
She was later married with Ramveer in Shivpuri court on an oath. After some when Sunita insisted to visit her maternal house, Ramveer resisted and told her that he has purchased her for Rs 40,000. So she cannot go anywhere.
On Wednesday morning the girl, somehow, escaped from the clutches of Ramveer and informed the police about the incident. On the complaint of the minor, the police arrested Ramveer and others involved in the incident.
The Kotwali police informed to the family members of the girl on mobile. According to the statement of the girl Raja appeared to be main link in the deal.
