1) The Open HTN Embedded Agent project is now up and running at Google Code. The
project homepage is
http://code.google.com/p/htn-ea
2) All of you are registered as developers, giving you edit access to the wiki
and issue tracker, and commit access to the svn repository.
3) The latest version of the code, incorporating extra work post-conference from
Strawberry and Mark can be found in the svn repository. To checkout the latest
copy of the code to the local directory 'htn-ea', do something like this:
svn co https://htn-ea.googlecode.com/svn/ --username eric.saunders htn-ea
obviously replacing my username with your own. The first time you try this, you
are prompted for a password. This is *not* your account password! Go to
http://code.google.com/p/htn-ea/source/checkout
and click the 'googlecode.com password' link to get the relevant gobbledegook.
4) For those of you unfamiliar with Subversion, you can download a handy
reference sheet here (comments/omissions/fixes welcome):
http://www.astro.ex.ac.uk/people/saunders/computing_tutorials/svn_summary
The definitive Subversion reference manual can be found here:
5) The mailing list for developer discussions is
The corresponding web page is
http://groups.google.com/group/htn-ea-devel
If you'd like to be notified of all subversion commits, let me know and I can
add you to that list as well (imaginatively titled htn-ea-svn).
6) I'll send another email in the near future discussing what we've
still got to do, where
I'd like to get to, and to let people choose what they'd like to work on next.
Thank you all for your continued interest and support for this project. I hope
we will find this an interesting and productive way of working. Lets see if we
can finish what we've started!
Cheers
Eric
