I have a new project! It includes a two HTML renderers along with many
more things. This has been a work in progress for over a year. I'm
telling you guys about this project first so that I can get a little
feed back before I really push everything out. If you have time I
would love to hear your guys thoughts on the project.

The old HTMLWrapper has many problems but the biggest ones revolve
around the fact that HTMLWrapper was only and HTML/CSS parser, as soon
as you wanted to integrate this code into a larger project or wanted
to modify any of the objects that it created it wasn't easy. This is
why ASTRID was made, the HTMLWrapper now just a small portion of a
larger project.

But in terms of the HTML/CSS parser many things have been improved and
fixed in the renderer and in the parser. When the first version was
created HTML5 wasn't really figured out at all and is now only
starting to get off the ground. Many new things like video, audio,
aside and article tags have been added but the detail of HTML tags
that were already created are more important changes if you ask me.
The changes in the form input tags are really great, if you haven't
heard about it read this article, http://diveintohtml5.org/forms.html
I have implemented most of this stuff also. There are a few components
that I haven't yet completed but calendars, number steppers,
checkboxes, radio buttons, textfields, etc. is all there with the
validation methods like regex patterns, required, min/max and a bunch
of other stuff. There is an example page in the code that you can try
out this form stuff.

Hopefully this gets you guys interested in trying the project out. If
so take into account that it is now an ActionScript framework that has
a few moving parts and if you were coming at this from the standpoint
of a HTML developer there is going to be a learning curve but at the
same time it fixes many of the issues that ActionScript developers are
normally faced with.

Great work! 3 can't wait to start experimenting with this on my current flash web game client. Been wondering what you've been up to.
