Dear AFRO Health Technology Colleagues:
Happy New Year. I hope you have had great end of year holidays with family and received our Rome Congress Report sent last week, below!
At the October 2019 Congress in Rome, a draft CED Global Action Plan for 2020-2021 was developed by 80 representatives with input from over 70 countries. It will be finalized by the end of this month, with input from colleagues around the world.
A group from AFRO countries (and 5 other groups of Clinical Engineers serving in WHO-defined Regions) met in December 2019 to determine Regional CED Action Plans, and are following that up with meetings again in mid January 2020.
Please join us, and note a review of these December discussions is attached, as well as some key reference documents.
If you do not wish to receive further such announcements, please let Kallirroi and I know.
Thanks.
