Dear Sir/Madam,
W3C India office (http://www.w3cindia.in) in collaboration with C-DAC, MAIT and IIIT Hyderabad is organizing a tour on HTML 5 across five Indian cities i.e. New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune from 17th-25th September, 2013. There is no registration fee for this conference. This is an initiative by W3C and its India office to spread awareness about the latest standard and to help support outreaching the community on a larger scale.
The tour will deliberate about the features of HTML5 and W3C's Open Web Platform technologies and their possible adoption in future web based applications.
Subject Matter Expert & W3C’s Activity Lead for HTML5 – Mr Micheal Smith will be in India and give training to Developers, Industry players, Researchers and others (Please refer to the eligibility criteria on the HTML5 tour website).
The tour will lay special emphasis on Core features of HTML5 including:· Real-time video chat and video conferencing (WebRTC)
· New modes of operation for Web applications, including offline Web applications/content the next Generation
· New ways to tune and optimize the performance of Web applications
· New ways to build complex Web content, including the use of Web Components
