his regime has waged a constant war on

persecuted by state power. But, equally
typically, Williamson is defiant. Explaining the
attack on his show in a post on X, he said: I’ve
been presenting a weekly programme, alongside
[David Miller], for the last four years called
@PDeclassifed, about the worldwide struggle to
liberate Palestine. But the Home Secretary,
Shabana Mahmood, is now trying to shut us down.
The studio where Palestine Declassified has been
recorded since 2022 has now been targeted by
Zionists via the Home Office and corporate media.
The studio recently received an unsigned and
highly unusual letter from the Home Office
threatening potential legal action under the
National Security Act because of supposed
‘foreign influence’. Since then, an absurd and
defamatory Telegraph article claimed that the
studio was owned by Press TV and, laughably, that
it acted as a spy recruitment hub! But the studio
has no relationship with Press TV or Iran, and
our show is independently produced. This is pure
state intimidation. But we will not be cowed by
these bureaucratic bullying tactics. Rest
assured, the show will continue, and so will its
groundbreaking reports. This drastic step by the
British government, operating at the behest of
the Zionist regime, only shows how fearful they
are about the information we are exposing about
the global Zionist war on Palestine. Given this
campaign of harassment, we will be finding a new
studio and changing the format of the show. This,
unfortunately, will come with associated
production issues and costs, so we will be
launching an appeal soon to help ensure that
Palestine Declassified continues every week.
Watch this space. The so-called ‘Foreign
Influence Registration Scheme’, which Mahmood is
using against Palestine Declassified, was
specifically created to target opponents of
US-Israel aggression against Iran. It was
described by the government as part of: a robust
package of measures to tackle threats from the
Iranian regime. Unsurprisingly, however, despite
the mass presence of Israel front groups and
lobbyists in the UK and of its agents in UK
government and state, it is not – fancy that –
being used against those who propagate and carry
out Israeli influence in the UK. Despite one in
four MPs accepting funds from Israel a recent,
farcical government report on foreign influence
in UK politics does not mention Israel even once.

something familiar about a prayer recited by
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: its language
closely echoes a monologue made famous by the
1994 film Pulp Fiction. During the service at the
Pentagon complex on Wednesday, Hegseth explained
that the prayer­known as “CSAR 25:17”­had been
recited by “Sandy 1” to combat search-and-rescue
crews ahead of CSAR missions, including a recent
operation involving two U.S. Air Force crew
members who were shot down over Iran.

the familiar wording. The remarks came just hours
before House Democrats filed articles of
impeachment against him. Before reciting the

become commonplace in the military setting. “This
prayer was recited by Sandy 1, to all Sandys, all
those A-10 crews, prior to all CSAR missions, but
especially this CSAR mission that happened in
real time,” he said, referring to combat
search-and-rescue operations. “They call it CSAR
25:17, which I think is meant to reflect Ezekiel
25:17,” Hegseth added before reading the prayer
aloud. The authentic passage from Ezekiel is a
condemnation of the Philistines and the
Cherethites­historic enemies of the
Israelites­and dates back to the 5th century BC.
In the movie, Samuel Jackson’s character, Jules
Winnfield, utters the verse moments before killing another character.

a barrage of social media posts, Donald Trump
claimed on Friday that Iran had agreed never to
close the strategic waterway again, hailing “A
GREAT AND BRILLIANT DAY FOR THE WORLD!” However,
Abbas Araghchi’s pledge was given only qualified
support by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,
which has reinforced its already powerful
authority in Tehran during the war. Iran’s
parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf,
later warned that if the US blockade continued,
“the strait of Hormuz will not remain open”.
Whether the strait was open or closed and the
regulations governing it “will be determined by
the field, not by social media”, Ghalibaf added,
in a swipe at the US president. Trump also said
that Iran had agreed to indefinitely suspend its
nuclear programme, and would not receive any
frozen funds from the US. In an interview with
Bloomberg, he said that talks over a deal to end
the war would “probably” be held this weekend.
Separately, the US president told Reuters that
Washington would work with Iran to recover its
enriched uranium, which he referred to as
“nuclear dust” that would be retrieved at “a nice
leisurely pace” and moved to the US. Iranian
authorities made no immediate comment on the
claim, but Tehran has long asserted that its
right to enrich uranium inside the country is
sacrosanct. When asked about a report that the US
was considering a $20bn cash for uranium deal,
Trump said: “It’s totally false. No money is
changing hands.” Araghchi statement that the
strait was “declared completely open” came as a
new 10-day truce in Lebanon entered its first
full day, partly pausing fighting between Israel
and the Iran-backed Hezbollah Islamist militant
movement and offering a fragile relief in parts
of the country after weeks of relentless Israeli
airstrikes that have killed hundreds of civilians.

in 1986, during the rule of the ‘Iron Lady,’
former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher In this
case, a Mossad agent left an envelope containing
eight British passports in a telephone booth in
Germany. The passports were forged for the
Israeli Embassy in London, but were discovered.
Britain, furious, demanded and obtained a promise
from Jerusalem that Israel would never do such a
thing again – a promise that seems to have been
broken. In 1988 Israeli diplomats were expelled
from London after using a Palestinian as a double
agent. The Palestinian, Ismail Siwan, was caught
with a cache of arms in Hull and was sentenced to
11 years in jail. As a result, Thatcher closed
down the Mossad offices in London. Arie Regev,
who headed the Mossad in London, was expelled and
Yaacov Barad was declared a persona non grata.
This is a co-ordinated effort led by MI6 which
now appears to be in charge of Counter Terrorism
Policing and domestic intelligence (as opposed to
the formal line of control in MI5). Back in 1948
British intelligence identified the Zionists –
Jewish terrorism as they called it – as the main
national security threat faced by the British
state. By 1971 they were collaborating with
Mossad to hunt down Palestinian Resistance
fighters. The operation/ network was called
Kilowatt. Thatcher allowed co-operation with the
Mossad, but famously refused to shake hands with
Menachem Begin the former leader of the Irgun
when he visited the UK, since she viewed him –
quite rightly – as a terrorist. Thatcher even
expelled Mossad agents and forced the closure of
the Mossad station in London in 1987. A
Palestinian collaborator working for Mossad,
Ismail Siwan, was caught with weapons in Hull,
leading to his conviction in 1988. The Mossad was
found to have been involved in the assassination
in West London in 1987 of the Palestinian
cartoonist and artist Naji El Ali (creator of the
famous Handala figure). The Mossad station chief
in London, Arie Regev, was expelled and Yaacov

Collaboration with Mossad stepped up a gear under
Blair. From 2004 MI6 has collaborated with Mossad
in operation against Hamas and it has
subcontracted some operations to the Zionist
agency. In 2015 MI6 helped Mossad in the
extraction of an Iranian nuclear scientist who
was a Mossad agent. In effect MI6 collaborated in
assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists. Now
– as of 2023- they have a special unit under
cover in the Foreign Office which leads on
countering “information threats” in relation to
Gaza. And they direct Counter Terrorism Policing
via the Homeland Security Group in the Home
Office. Since its creation in 2007 this grouping
(previously called the Office for Security and
Counter Terrorism) has always been headed by a
career MI6 officer and not someone from MI5.

It was a verdict that many believed to be a
miscarriage of justice, which was compounded by
Frank being kidnapped from prison two years later
and lynched, the only American Jew known to have
suffered that fate. By 1937, the Anti-Defamation
League had embarked on another occupation,
keeping files and spying on what it considered to
be communist or pro-communist organizations and
individuals. In that year, a 1947 Congressional
hearing revealed, it had begun providing
information on the recently formed National
Lawyers Guild and on individuals applying for
government jobs to the original House Committee
on Un-American Activities chaired by the
notorious racist and anti-semite, Rep. Martin
Dies, which came to be referred to simply as the
Dies Committee. In the anti-communist witch hunts

ADL assisted and acted as a go-between for both
the Congressional committees and members or

of American citizens, but, in particular, those
supporting the Palestinian cause and opposing
South African apartheid. It turned out that this
cop was partnering with a San Francisco weight
lifter, Roy Bullock, who had infiltrated the
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and a
number of other organizations and had in his
files the names of over 10,000 individuals and
over 600 organizations, most of which were kept
in what Bullock labeled as Pinko files. Bullock
and Gerard were also being paid by South African
intelligence officials to provide them with the
same information on anti-apartheid activism that
they had been collecting for the ADL. Bullock had
been identified as the ADL’s “main fact finder”
by the late Irwin Suall, who headed the group’s
intelligence apparatus, but depositions taken at
the time revealed there were similar spying
operations being conducted by the ADL across the
United States. Despite the ADL having promised to
cease trying to illegally obtain information on
its political enemies at the time in exchange for
not being prosecuted, there is no evidence that
it has. Rather it has strengthened its ties with
police across the country through its LEARN
program (Law Enforcement Agency Resource Network)
in which it trains police in dealing with
“extremist groups” and “hate crimes.” The ADL has
become identified with the antics and
pronouncements of its long-time national
director, Abe Foxman, who has made a name for
himself by taking on anyone he considers guilty
of anti-Semitism, which means criticizing Israel
or the abuse of Jewish power. In the past this
has included Marlon Brando, Mel Gibson, and most
recently Oliver Stone. Jews are not immune, as
Tony Judt found out in 2006 when Foxman
interceded with the Polish Consulate in New York
to prevent the British Jewish writer from giving
a talk in the building’s meeting room on “The

Leo Frank (born April 17, 1884, Cuero, Texas,
U.S.­died August 17, 1915, Marietta, Georgia) was
an American factory superintendent whose
conviction in 1913 for the murder of Mary Phagan
resulted in his lynching. His trial and death
shaped the nascent Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
Frank was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and
earned a B.S. from the College of Engineering at
Cornell University in 1906. After an
apprenticeship in Germany with the pencil
manufacturer Eberhard Faber, Frank moved to
Atlanta, Georgia, to work at the National Pencil
Company, of which his uncle Moses Frank was part
owner. On November 30, 1910, he married Lucille
Selig­who was, like Frank, a Jew of German
ancestry born in the United States­and lived
harmoniously with his wife’s well-off family. In
1912 Frank was elected president of his local
B’nai B’rith chapter. On April 26, 1913, at about
noon, Mary Phagan, a 13-year-old employee of the
National Pencil Company, went to the factory to
collect her pay, which Frank gave to her. Soon
after, she was sexually assaulted and brutally
murdered.

Lee, a watchman, discovered her body in the
factory’s basement about 3:30 am and reported it
to police. Frank was questioned and released that
day. On April 29 he was arrested and charged with
murder. The investigation was fraught with
controversy and included the torture of
witnesses. Press coverage surrounding the trial
and subsequent appeals­sensationalized in a
manner new to Atlanta by William Randolph Hearst,
by a populist firebrand turned white supremacist,
Tom Watson, and by others­exacerbated existing
social tensions that already threatened the
integrity of the legal process. As a Northerner
managing hundreds of teenage girls working long
hours for paltry compensation, Frank elicited
little sympathy. The prosecution based its case
against Frank on coached testimony of Jim Conley,
an African American janitor at the National
Pencil Company who many contend committed the
crime. Conley’s four affidavits­each new
statement renouncing the last­developed the
elaborate and, by all accounts, improbable story
of his participation in a crime he attributed to
Frank. Most of the circumstantial evidence and
character testimony favoured Frank, but prejudice
and ignorance about Jews and blacks ultimately
decided the trial. The prosecution acknowledged
the good reputation of German Jews in Atlanta but
successfully exploited misconceptions about
circumcision and unfavourable testimony about
Frank’s character from a few of his young female
employees to paint him as a pervert.
Paradoxically, racism helped Conley, who held to
his story over three days of cross-examination by
some of Georgia’s best lawyers. Dismissing
Conley’s lies as a function of his race and
believing that any black person would be
incapable of remembering such a complex story
unless it were true, the jury found Frank guilty
after roughly two hours of deliberation on August
25. For two years, developments in the Frank case
made headlines. Frank’s appeals, based on
technicalities, were all denied; the U.S. Supreme
Court voted 7–2 with the notable dissension of
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. When Conley’s lawyer,
William Smith, publicly asserted Frank’s
innocence, he was pilloried in local newspapers
and effectively run out of Georgia. In June 1915,
shortly before Frank’s scheduled execution, Gov.
John Slaton commuted his sentence from death to
life in prison. When the news broke the next
morning, a mob sought Slaton at his home,
prompting him to declare martial law. Later a
fellow inmate cut Frank’s throat with a butcher’s
knife; two other inmates who happened to be
doctors rushed Frank to the prison hospital and
participated in the surgery that narrowly saved his life.

involved. I have written extensively on these

of the Royal Commission is to address hate speech
and disruption of “social cohesion”. On hate
speech, there are two core claims repeatedly
advanced by pro-Israel advocacy organisations
that can enable the shutting down of free speech
criticising Israel and/or political beliefs: That
the IHRA definition of antisemitism should be the
benchmark for all legislation: it cannot be –
because its interpretation would shut down
criticism of Israel. Several original
contributors to the original IHRA definition have
publicly warned against its legislative use. It
is specified as “a working definition” never
intended for legislation. This is why the
Government uses terms like “we acknowledge the
IHRA definition” but the pro-Israel lobbies
always use – in true
putting-words-into-people’s-mouths-then-minuting-it
fashion “the Government’s chosen definition of
antisemitism”. ZFA post July 2024 on the
appointment of the Australian antisemitism envoy
– reminding the Government of the definition of
antisemitism “chosen” by the previous heavily
pro-Israel Morrison Government. Morrison’s
political trajectory included sustained
engagement with pro-Israel lobby groups from an
early stage in his career. Antizionism and/or
anti-Israel sentiment is antisemitism: It is NOT.
Antizionism is a political position; equating it
with antisemitism collapses an essential legal
and conceptual distinction. In July 2025 the
Australian Federal Court explicitly rejected this
conflation2. Any “official” Government-recognised
groups pushing either of these two lines have a
political agenda benefitting Israel which is
clearly unrelated to racism. That is indisputable
and extremely important to be aware of. You’ll
see it repeated falsely as truth across social
media feeds and the pro-Israel Murdoch Media ad
naseum until the public assume it is correct.

Convicted Fraudster Gerald Ronson chairs
Community Security Trust – genocide lobby funder

fraudster. Sir Gerald Ronson’s forecourt empire
has delivered a record profit, with the property
tycoon’s service station business now valued at
more than £1.5bn. GMR Capital, the parent of
petrol forecourt operator Rontec, reported
pre-tax profits of £98.4m for the 12 months to
the end of September, up 6 per cent on the
previous year and surpassing its earlier peak of
£95.7m in 2022.

cent to £1.56bn, reflecting what the company
described as a “challenging economic environment”
and cautious consumer spending. Rontec, which

squeezed margins. However, lower interest
repayments, as borrowing costs eased over the
year, helped boost profitability. The group
described the period as “another successful
year”, extending a long track record of
resilience. GMR has recorded losses only three
times in the past three decades, with its most
recent annual loss dating back to 2009. In 2025,
property agent Colliers revalued Rontec’s real
estate estate at £1.51bn, an increase of £318m.
The uplift was attributed partly to investment in
site improvements and partly to broader
commercial property gains as interest rates fell.
Rontec has been investing heavily in modernising
its estate. The company is midway through
refurbishing its Shop’N Drive convenience stores
and has upgraded its Subway franchises. Its
food-to-go offer continues to expand, including
43 franchised outlets of Greggs. The group has
also earmarked tens of millions of pounds for
ultra-fast electric vehicle charging hubs. Six
forecourts currently host the chargers, with
another six planned, although rollout has been
slowed by delays in securing high-capacity grid
connections and uncertainty in the EV market.
Ronson, 86, who introduced self-service petrol
stations to the UK in the 1960s, has previously
described Rontec as his “f*** you” business
because of its ability to generate cash through
economic cycles. Better known publicly for
landmark developments such as the 46-storey Heron
Tower in the City of London, Ronson also served
six months in prison in the 1990s for his role in
the Guinness share-trading scandal. He remains
chairman of GMR, with his wife Gail and daughters
Nicole and Lisa also serving on the board.
Company accounts show Ronson spent £164,000
chartering the company jet during the year, along
with £82,000 on use of a company-owned yacht. The
yacht was subsequently sold for £2m to a company
owned by his wife. Despite headwinds in consumer
spending and higher operating costs, Ronson’s
forecourt empire has once again demonstrated its
ability to generate record returns ­ reinforcing
its reputation as one of Britain’s most resilient private business empires.

ever with prime ministers, military leaders, tech
billionaires and the heads of giant investment

the Washington conference, alongside his
collaborator in Trump’s “Golden Dome” project,
Palantir’s CEO, Alex Karp. Karp is close to
fellow billionaire tech-bro Peter Thiel, whose
name, remarkably, is absent from this year’s
participant list. Thiel has been a member of the
group’s steering committee since 2008, and it was
unheard of for him to miss a Bilderberg. Thiel’s
reach runs deep into the Trump administration,
and his influence within Bilderberg has also been
growing through the years. Through the American
Friends of Bilderberg Inc, he largely funds the
lavish Washington-based meetings, alongside
fellow steering committee member and billionaire
Schmidt. Thiel operates in the powerful liminal
area between big finance and big intelligence –
most notably, he set up Palantir with the help of
funding from the CIA. This shady intersection was
the birthplace of Bilderberg, and is baked into
its history: the group was set up by British and
American intelligence, and there’s always a
handful of spy chiefs at the conference. This
year, three intelligence directors were present,
including the head of MI6, Blaise Metreweli. It
is a fascinating backstage world which Thiel will
now miss along with the strategising, the talent
spotting and the big ideological discussions on “China” and “the west”…

government is negotiating on food and drink and
emissions trading to come into force, and allow
it to follow future EU changes in these areas.
But the Guardian understands that if the new bill
– expected to be introduced before the summer –
is passed, negotiators could seek to adopt EU

aggression and other symptoms that can last quite
a while. Children and teenagers can react
particularly badly to antidepressants. It is
thought, according to some studies about 10% of
people given antidepressants will get psychosis
and, or aggression. This is a known phenomenon by
psychiatrists, but is thought to effect about
0.3% of people. Evidence shows otherwise. This is
a real controversy in the psychiatric community,

health service for four years prior to his knife
attack, a hospital trust has said. Alder Hey
Children’s NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool said

with their services in February 2023, having been
looked after since 2019. The 18-year-old was
given a a life sentence with a minimum term of 52
years on Thursday – one of the highest minimum
terms on record – for murdering Alice da Silva
Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot
Stancombe, seven, at a dance class in Southport
on July 29 last year He also attempted to murder
eight other children, who cannot be named for
legal reasons, class instructor Leanne Lucas and
businessman John Hayes. Rudakubana was twice
ordered to leave the dock as he repeatedly
interrupted his sentencing hearing by claiming to
be ill, having not eaten for 10 days. In a
statement on Friday, a spokesperson for Alder Hey
Children’s NHS Foundation Trust said: “Our
thoughts remain with the families of Alice, Bebe
and Elsie and all those affected by the events of
29th July. “We can confirm that Axel Rudakubana
was under the care of Alder Hey Services
including our Community Mental Health Service between 2019 and 2023.

accused of murder and other serious crimes on

Masonic Lodge in the Paris suburb of Puteaux.

conspiracy – all on behalf of a mafia network
inside the former Athanor Masonic Lodge in the
Paris suburb of Puteaux. Several freemasons from
the 20 or so members of the lodge are in the
dock. Most of the accused, aged between 30 and
73, have no previous criminal records. Five of
the suspects are in custody and 16 are under
judicial supervision, while one woman is
appearing in court as a free person. The alleged
ringleaders are Athanor Freemasons Jean-Luc
Bagur, Frédéric Vaglio and Daniel Beaulieu. They
face life in jail if convicted. So does
Beaulieu’s right-hand man Sébastien Leroy, who is
accused of carrying out the trio’s dirty work
himself or through a hit-man network. The case
was triggered by a botched contract killing in
July 2020, when two members of France’s parachute
regiment were arrested in possession of weapons
near the home of business coach Marie-Hélène
Dini. Under questioning, they said they thought
they had been asked to murder Dini on behalf of
the French state on the grounds that she worked
for Israeli spy agency Mossad. Escalating crimes
Investigators discovered a link to Bagur, who is
a business coach rival of Dini’s as well as being
the 69-year-old “venerable master” of the Athanor
lodge. Investigators say Bagur asked fellow
Freemason Vaglio to arrange to have his rival
eliminated for a fee of €70,000 ($80,600).
Vaglio, a 53-year-old entrepreneur, allegedly
acted as the intermediary between the big boss
and a hit squad working for fellow Athanor
Freemason Beaulieu, a retired agent for the
domestic intelligence service (DGSI). The leader
of the hit squad, Leroy, admitted in police
custody that he or his associates carried out
most of the Athanor mafia’s assaults, robberies
and murders – including the killing of a racing
car driver. As time went on, the crimes ordered
by the Freemason mafia escalated from petty revenge attacks to homicide.

author had full access to archives of the most
sensitive nature and was excoriated for this
expose, but he thought a One World Government

heroes out into the sun. I plan to read it twice.
Quigley resolutely refuses to let himself be
limited by a single perspective or narrow
conceptions of political correctness. His account
of recent history combines at least five main
strands: macro-economic theory, power
relationships, weapons technology, psychology and
religion. It is quite startling to see how much
he knows about all of them. He moves smoothly
from explaining how deflationary policies caused
the post-World War I German depression, to
describing the way investment in arms
manufacturing can redistribute wealth and
kick-start an economy, to a discussion of
Douhet’s 1922 theory of strategic bombing and how
it influenced Britain’s policy of appeasement
towards Nazi Germany, to an account of the
development of radar and how it assured the
Allied victory in the Battle of Britain. The
level of detail is breathtaking; there’s a reason
why the book is so long, and indeed you often
feel that he’s reluctantly cutting a lot out to
save space. Behind it all, he has an overarching
vision of how all historical events are
influenced by deep philosophical, religious and
cultural perspectives going back to the
beginnings of recorded history. This stuff is
amazingly bold. For example, he sees the basic
division between the American Left and Right as
ultimately emanating from counter-currents in
Christian thought. The Left is following standard
Christian doctrine (man is essentially good, and
only needs help and guidance), while the Right
follows the Manichaean doctrine imported into
Christianity by Saint Augustine (evil is a
positive force, and man needs strong external
discipline to protect him from it). I am sure
that not everyone will like this, but I thought
it was perceptive. An even more controversial
aspect of the book, which I can see nearly
everyone hates, is his analysis of national
character. For example, he claims that there is a
unifying pattern of behavior connecting the Arab
and Latin American countries, with Moorish Spain
as the link; this is typified by a tribal
government based on interpersonal relations
rather than laws, endemic corruption, and
contempt for women. Yes, too simplistic, as he
admits himself; but is it really worse than the
currently fashionable alternative, which is to
pretend that people are the same everywhere and
there are no truly important cultural differences…?

recorded history, mankind has dreamt of building
the perfect society, an empire that might somehow
satisfy the needs of every man. An ancient legend
casts the shadows of one such society that is
said to have existed long ago. Twenty-five
hundred years ago, the Greek philosopher, Plato,
set down a dialogue called the Critias. He
recounted the story of an ancient Greek poet and
statesman named Solon. Solon had journeyed to
Egypt in search of wisdom to help the government
of his beloved Greece. The Greeks had been beset
with factions and troubles, so Solon took counsel
from the priests of the city of Sais. An old
priest told him, “Oh, Solon. Solon! You Greeks
are never anything but children. There is no old
opinion handed down among you nor any science
that is white with age.” The old priest then
proceeded to tell him the story of the lost city
of Atlantis. In the centuries that would follow,

and researchers have debated whether Plato’s
Atlantis was intended to be an account of real
history or simply an allegorical myth. Some even
suggest that Atlantis was really the Antediluvian
World, the wicked society destroyed by the wrath
of God in the great flood of Noah. In the 20th
century, Plato’s account was further supported by
a Masonic philosopher, Manly P. Hall. Hall
claimed that Atlantis had once been a vast and
mighty empire that extended to the whole world, a
philosophic commonwealth of nations that one day
was destined to be rebuilt, but who would rebuild
it, and exactly who was Manly P. Hall? Hall
authored over 200 books and is said to have given
some 8000 lectures on ancient philosophy. He is
perhaps most remembered for his contribution to
the mysterious brotherhood of Masonry. Upon his
death in 1990, the Scottish Rite Journal, a
Masonic publication, noted that he was often
called “Masonry’s greatest philosopher.” Among
his teachings was that contained in Masonry and
all the secret orders was the ancient wisdom of
lost Atlantis. Hall wrote that for more than 3000
years, secret societies had been laboring to
create a background of knowledge necessary to an
establishment of an enlightened democracy among
the nations of the world. According to Hall,
these societies could be traced back to ancient
Egypt and had, for centuries, known of a secret
place hidden from the eyes of common men, a place
that would one day be revealed. In the 17th
century, as settlers were colonizing the new
world, Sir Francis Bacon, the leader of secret
societies in England, set down his classic work,
the “New Atlantis”, while archaeologists and
treasure hunters had searched the globe, looking
for the lost continent. Four hundred years ago,
Bacon, like many of his contemporaries, believed
that Atlantis was America itself.
