Halo Monitoring, Inc. is looking for an intermediate to expert Ruby on
Rails developer for a part time contract, with the possibility of a
full time job after that. The hours can be discussed and we're very
open to non-business hours.

The work involves bug fixes, feature upgrades, and code refactoring
with the following characteristics:
1. Business logic of notification system with Authorization plug-in
including management of the senior/caregiver relationship
2. Communication with embedded health monitoring device with REST
including installation process, data collection, and alerts
3. Integration to third party systems such as Microsoft Health Vault
4. UI development including some JavaScript
5. Reporting for user statistics
6. Support for call center decision tree based on a Ruby based rule
engine
7. Very open to code and architecture improvements
8. Work in highly motivated environment with very little bureaucracy

Hey, what Ruby rules engine are you using? Ruleby or something else,
in-house or other?
