JOB TITLE: Purchasing Director (electronics / telec
LOCATION: Huntsville, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $120000 - $145000

DESCRIPTION:
Director of Procurement who has strong background in telecommunications and
commercial electronics. Responsible for the procurement, development, strategy
and implementation of materials processes to meet annual and quarterly
production goals, cost, flexibility, and predictability goals in a low to
medium volume, very high mix, complex manufacturing environment. Manages
through commodity managers, buyer/planners, project/program managers, & related
support and matrixed individuals, cost effective expenditures of company
assets, ensuring security of supply. Candidate needs 15+ years of experience
with several years of management / consulting experience. APICS or NAPM
certification a plus. BS degree, MBA very desirable.
