Eunice's Kitchen has me puzzled. (It sure isn't Shoney's.)
Perhaps some old hands could straighten me out?

Am I to pile in with anyone who has an open seat?
I felt guilty picking a booth only to have folks crowded at the door.
(I was reading the football coaches autographs.)
Am I to serve myself coffee?
Am I to correct "the cashier" when she slips into
1950's prices? I did today, but rudeness seems to be defined
differently there.

Eunice's is not big enough for a group larger than about 4.

Nope, just twenty something years and now with a child old enough

and reputation for various business associates leaving feet first
that I carried with me.

Eunice's is a great place to eat. I guess if you aren't a Huntsvillian - you
wouldn't get a lot out of it. But people go there for the "common folk"
atmosphere. Its along the lines of Mullin's. You can just go there and feel
at home with them. It's not uncommon for Aunt Eunice to walk around and serve
coffee.. And when the politicians are there - the walk around and talk and pour
your coffee for you. And if you're lucky - someone will buy ur meal! ;-)

Aunt Eunice is a dear, respectable lady who truly cares about other people and
is willing to go out of her way for them.
