The one thing I will miss about Gary, his forcasts of snow at least
three times a week from November till April. While he does not forcast
snow as much as he use to, he still has if forcasted much more than
anyone else. Makes you wonder if owns stock in the local bread and milk
industries.

pssst...wanna buy a bridge? If you believe dobbs propagandist
bullshit - you'll believe anything.
Dobbs is suffering from the "wanna be a weatherman" syndrome.
He sucks - and his condescending attitude towards other
qualified meteorologists is disgusting.
He can't leave quick enough for me...and a ton of others
I'd hypothesize.
...cause a death. What a crock!!
All this from a self proclaimed weather god. Go read his bio on waays
page...he's held more jobs than I own socks. Real qualified to
forecast weather - not!
dobbs owes it all to Bob Baron. Period.

Oh...I get it...it's ok for dobbs to push a weather panic button -
but's it's not for others? How silly of me...

Now that you mention it..."grocery clerk" would be a nice choice for
him...
In all seriousness Rex, when mr. chuckles and miss. headbobber go with
their full time radio assault, wtki will loose listeners.
(I believe there's an article in the hsv times that will support my
claim...)

just sign me "sick of the whole damned mess"
{sarcasm off}
Either way, I'll pass on the "local" weather forecasts.
Something about a guy who tells us about the weather
and drives a Corvette with cellular phone to do so...
Well maybe one day "Chicken Little" leaves WHNT then they replace him with a
unqualified weatherman, who still thinks he has the right to announce when
there is a warning and when there is not a warning. What is your opinion
then?
Rex (sick of DAs who hide behind fake addresses)
>Did you even read the first sentance of my post?
Sure did - did you see my first line?
{sarcasm on}
And last line?
{sarcasm off}
Oh well...we both agree on one thing...:-)
"I know as much about weather as Dan..."
Bwahahahahahahaha What a crock...
Listen...tune into FOX54...great weather...5 minutes worth.
>Rex (sick of DAs who hide behind fake addresses)
DA's?? Dumb asses? Dirty ashtrays? District Attorneys?
Fake addresses? Chill Rex - it's sarcasm/humor.
The net slang for a person not posting with their real address
is..."coward"...sheeze.
However - it is humorous to note that 31 still can't
put together a winning team. Never has and never will.
And you know why Satterfield and 19 had no comment
to dobbs assinine comments?
Because they are professionals...dobbs aint...he's says
he's a "damn good apple"...bwahahahahaha - maybe
his mother thinks so, but this public doesn't.
Mark my words...dobbs radio show will fail...his track
record will speak for that.
Just sign me,
The coward whom ordered a satellite dish after reading the
propagandist shit from doobs...err dobbs. MD and company
will never reek up my tv again.
Thanks for the vent Rex - I feel better. :-)
Rex
>You did not respond to the last question. What happens when WHNT gets a new
>Bozo to do the Weather? Does he still have the "right" to issue and cancel
>warnings whenever he feels like it?
The question wasn't directed at me, but I'll give it a try: The next
WHNT weather guru will have the same authority to issue and cancel his
own warnings as Chief Meteorologist Dan. In other words, no authority
at all.
Whether the next WHNT Chief Meteorologist has the ego to do it anyway,
or can have his ego sufficiently inflated by WHNT's ratings-obsessed
management, is another question.
>If he does what is to stop Garry Dobbs or
>anyone else from doing the same thing.
Respect for the viewers, one might hope.
