Sherwood Park is having its semi-annual community yard sale this
Saturday. There are 600 homes in the neighborhood, so there should be
a fair concentration of sales. Most start at 7:00 or 8:00 A.M.
Sherwood Park is located on the north side of Old Madison Pike between
Wynn Dr. and Research Park Blvd. (formerly Rideout Rd.). That's near
Calhoun Community College and the Space and Rocket Center.
The only four roads into and out of the neighborhood are all on Old
Madison Pike. They are (east to west) Robinhood Ln., Harolds Dr.,
Blocker St., and Bethune Way. Note that the apartments on the first
block or so of Robinhood Ln. are not generally included.
